i have pink isolation wrapped in garbage bags with big elastic bands all around my res,

I stick 1-2 two liter bottles on the outside of my bin but inside of the isolation, to keep the temps low

works really well

the platic bags get wet, but the isolation is still fluffy and dry

it's so cheap if the stuff gets wet just change it

As a matter a fact I was... Your corny, stop talking to me. Bottom line its November. Unless your in the desert or within the tropical zones close enough to the equator "Ice Bombing" wont do much for ya especially with mason jars. In the freezer a mason jar is just waiting to crack. And change your stupid avatar, its annoying. Better yet stop posting on this site all your comments are negative.
Well first off Mr. Higher then Almighty... where do we start with you. I promise I won't give up on you like obviously your parents have done up to this point in your life. I don't blame you, I blame society so keep your chin up son.

Excuse us for applying basic principles of action and reaction, to a scientific use i.e. salt metal maybe corrodes. I am not a scientific engineer to state the correct chemical reactions caused in these particular salts and lids. Also "you're" corny, not "your" which would be used like "Your corncob is shoved so far up your ass, I think your hot air is producing popcorn."

You can't assume that everyone has such drastic changes in seasonal temperature, but that is not even the point. Yet you try to argue an irrelevant point of anyone's posts. You just chimed "November", no maybe that is all your simple mind can produce. I see by your reply, that I was probably not too far off from the truth.

Now with that being said you're probably high most of the time, at least lets hope with your view points and grammatical accuracy.

Thanks for the laughs, and yes everything I do say is negative to troll like yourself. I provide the accurate, helpful non-assholish advice to those deserving. I hope you understand.

Toodles.

I would worry about any metal in my reservoir not only will it rust but who knows how it will react with the nutrients or if it may skew EC or pH readings. To the guy with the huge pointless post above me. If you dont smoke why are you on this website? You didnt offer anything useful in this post.

For dwc expensive insulated coolers will reduce a lot of headaches.

So many insults why not just post some facts if there is any. Or discuss better ways of keeping a res cool. My tent stays at 75f but my res has been hitting in the 72f range. To warm of a res for my comfort. But if I followed the advice here I'd have to turn my tent into a mini cooler to keep the res below 70f. My best advice to myself is to convert a igloo cooler to a dwc bucket. Should keep water temp stable and I would imagine it's light proof as well.

My water stays at 70 degrees I simply have all my rooms hooked up to my geothermal it pumps nice controlled air in and my fans pump it out. Never had root rot or any of that goofy stuff.

Cool thanks for the response guys. Roots looking good in week 5 of flower. This is my first dwc grow, am very pleased with my grow. And this site has been a huge help. Been doing as much reading as I can.
