So, was sitting smoking on some pineapple express brainstorming on a simple method to keep res temps down in the DWC. And it hit me.........

What more perfect to use than the good ol' mason jars awaiting the girls to harvest! So basically you can fill up your mason jars with water, seal them tight, Put them in the freezer and wala!

Introducing the "ICE BOMB"! Nice and frozen....... No leakage whatsoever. Now just drop one in your DWC and you'll only have to put a new one in once a day, or twice if you prefer. The bigger the mason jar the longer it will last for the day in your res. Currently only have 3 girls goin right now, so using a total of 6 mason jars, keeping 3 in the freezer at all times.

64oz / half gal juice bottles (GreatValue,OceanSpray) with 100 pennies in each, for weight, and frozen water.
Or cheap fishing weights at walmart.
My bubble action is so violent it will move the bottles, without them weighted.
Plus they'll float too.

Get your growroom temp under control and the rez temp will follow. Roots don't like such erratic changes in temp, and you are running a big risk of getting glass going everywhere! Why don't they have a reason to burst or crack? you could bump that on the edge of your rez or a wall and glass is going to go flying everywhere, anything can happen...keep it safe mate

how do you clean those things ? in time they'll collect shit on them. I've chosen another method.....let's call it "big fucking ice cube bombs" . First take a cheap ass freezer food storage container, fill it with RO water, freeze it, pop it out like a "big fucking ice cube bomb" and drop it in the bucket/res. refill and repeat, no shit on the bottle to fuck up your bucket/res.

I am still using "ice bombs" (20oz pop bottles filled with water and frozen). It is supposed to be 91 here today (southern AZ).

I never had to worry about my res temps. I found that if my room temps were in check then my res temps followed suit. Coating them in alu tape was all that was required. Plants grew just great.

Oh good one... You must been in the top of your returning class for your GED.
As a matter a fact I was... Your corny, stop talking to me. Bottom line its November. Unless your in the desert or within the tropical zones close enough to the equator "Ice Bombing" wont do much for ya especially with mason jars. In the freezer a mason jar is just waiting to crack. And change your stupid avatar, its annoying. Better yet stop posting on this site all your comments are negative.
