I wanted to make a little veg box for 2 seedlings and I saw in another post someone used 4 4ft t5 bulbs so I went to homedepot and got a 2' fixture with 2 t5 bulbs. It says on the box the bulbs are f14t5 ( http://www.bulbtown.com/F14T5_841K_14_WATT_T5_FLUORESCENT_BULB_G5_BASE_p/105420.htm
On the box it says 138RLN, it looks like this is what I got from homedepot: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100654375/h_d2/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&keyword=138RLN&jspStoreDir=hdusΝ=P_PARENT_ID&navFlow=3&catalogId=10053&langId=-1&ddkey=Search
Will these be ok to veg 2 little seedlings? Do I need more lights or diff kinds of bulbs?
Right now the cups are about 3" below the light and the light is wedged into the corners of the box, bulbs are not touching any plastic and the flaps to the box are not fully closed but sitting on top of each other mostly closed. The room is about 75+F.
The plan is to just get them a really good start, for the past month we've been having maybe 1 day of sun for the whole week and then its just clouds and rain the rest of the time.
Two quick pics of the set up:
