As legallyflying has already stated, PPM levels for UC setups are MUCH lower than conventional DWC type setups! I only have a 2 site setup, and did not take the PPM levels above 700 during Veg.(my tap water is 200 and ~500 of nutes!) Just make sure to keep organics out of your UC setup and keep your water temps under 72 and you will be laughing! Here are a couple of shots of my current grow:

Hey slanty. Are you running EWC tea? Both times I tried the UC I could NOT beat the slime. Chilled, synthetic, blah blah blah. Just could not do it. :(

Want to try it again though. Jesus the plants grow SO fast in there. Even compared to DWC

Awesome looking plants slanty What strain ? & thanks for the kind words I hope you decide to stay tuned into this grow :) PPM's have been in the 800 range for about 7 days and they are loving it, PH is 5.8 We will defiantly be taking into consideration the nutrient efficiency with under current & making sure not to go to high during flowering and burn the ladies.

Yeah indeed they do, Last grow I did was a trial run of hydro being my first grow not in soil I went with a simple 6 individual DWC Bucket setup. I thought the plants grew fast then compared to soil, But now UC compared to DWC, UC blows it out of the water. I never had any issues with the temprature in my res's last grow & I am hoping for the same this time to get through this crop then a water chiller will be added in the next phase of upgrades between grows. Thanks for all the discussion & input everybody keep it comming :)

Thanks bro for the kind words means alot :) Glad to know you are tuned in ! I am defiantly going to be starting a perpetual thread after this grow once the room is finished off after the last upgrade phase once this crop is down. I will keep very detailed videos & pictures coming for you all, We vend our stuff to dispensary's & try to offer them a very intimate look at how their medicine they are buying from us is grown. Our youtube channel is updated every sunday after 7 days of growth & this thread gets all our exclusive pictures :)

Will have more photos for tomorrow to wake up to for you guys :) Glad I found an awsome forum to be apart of & share content with people who enjoy it havent found a forum ive wanted to put effort into for awhile.

I ran the EWC tea last round due to getting the dreaded slime. It was my own fault by adding things I shouldn't have to the res though. This time, been trying to keep it simple and it is paying off! No tea required this round at all! Roots couldn't look much better and the growth rates have been off the chart!

This strain is Canacopia's BC Roadkill x Deep Chunk. I ran one small clone last round and can't wait for this round to finish! The entire bud turns purple and is some of the dankest stuff I have ever smoked. The base of one of the plants is ~7-8" in diameter and it is less than 3' tall! Once you get the UC system figured out, there isn't much else that can come close!

I will be watching the show!

Much agreed, Once it is figured out & dialed in the plants take off. I cant wait for my next grow with water chillers & another 1k HPS / better room temperature control through A/C & cool tubes. Really cant wait to push this system to its limits and see what types of yield per plant I can get with still a somewhat short veg time. Thanks for tuning in slanty new pics comming in t-minus 8 hours once the lights are on.

Hey guys, As promised here are some fresh shots of the ladies. They are absolutely taking off & should be in a perfect state for going into flowering next sunday. The vanilla kush is still far ahead but that is only due to the recovery time of both strains. The vanilla proved to be a much hardier plant when it came to getting back on its feet.

Enjoy some of the last pics of thease girls in veg, Maybe one more photoshoot with them before they go to 12/12 :)

They look super lush and healthy! nice work dude. Man I love the big fat indica leaves.
Thanks bro, Yeah the vanilla kush leafs are awesome looking. A truly indica plant if there ever was one surprising its doing so well in hydroponic setting I didn't think something so indica based would like wet feet all the time lol. The feed is very high right now and the plants are loving it. Ive read alot & even saw u say not to go up too high but these ladies are singing at 900 ppm & 5.8 ph, Everything is methodically balanced & corrected if it dips out of where we desire it. Keep tuned in and we should have some awsome fat indica bud porn for you too not just leaf porn :)

Thanks man that means alot. I am gonna assume they will all triple in height, vanilla kush is a more squat plant so maybe not so much but the critical kush I am anticipating it to atleast triple in height, I would like for them to remain under 4 feet forsure. They have had a 1 month veg period in buckets & we will be switching to flowering this coming sunday. Was going to let them go to the end of the month but the growth rate is too insane for that lol

I did not reach hydro success until I blasted the nutes with massive air pump/stones.

His roots look fantastic, especially for being in nutes 24/7. If you compare his to other DWC growers, their roots look like soggy spaghetti- a perfect environment for slime.

I first noted this after not having good success using a small single tube air pump in a cloner. I bought one twice the size + 2 lines and results improved dramatically.

I am doing an R & D tent, growing one plant using half the lines from a 4 line air pump that produces 15 l/min + DIY leds. If I may, here's a photo of that plant (>3ft) + Root Porn from my HPA system, so I know a thing or two about what healthy roots look like. The more elaborate the root mass, the healthier and more efficient
. Huge dividends at bud time
