Trump Demands Full Embargo of China

Do you think the typical Republican cares about charges of money laundering, and tax evasion by Trump? Keeping in mind that the Senate will not convict Trump unless the Republican base wants them to, I see the average Republican's belief in Trump's story about witch hunts to be the main obstacle. Trump can't be tried until he's out of office. Without a guilty verdict, I don't see even the few honest Trumplicans switching away from their opposition to impeaching and removal from office. Even with a guilty verdict, Trumplicans are likely to believe Trump was railroaded.

Trump is our first truly gangster president. In his psychotic world, laws are what fools follow. He does what he wants and lets his lawyers handle the lawsuits. The Republican Party has become much like him. A party of sociopaths.
Probably not, but it will whittle down the base further still and bring over some on the fence, it might also cause some of his supports to stay home, every little bit helps. One thing the democrats can't do is give Trump and the GOP a pass on impeachment, they can only control the timing and agenda, but not the out come. If they don't try to impeach him they will own him along with the GOP.

“As for how Trump is dealing with China, Johnson added: “I don’t think you can expect to make the fundamental changes that are being asked of China while every other day you’re offending them, you’re forcing them to lose face. No country’s going to make changes when they’re embarrassed along the way. That’s just not how you do things.””

Head of the farmers union.

“Johnson said the U.S. will suffer “reputational damage ... for literally decades.” He also noted that “trade actions that this president have taken have done damage to lots of other parts of the economy” as well.”

You must know, because you can string a coherant sentence together, that the 97% is a complete fallacy?

The methodology used in that study is so far beyond rational that it isn't even worth recognising.

Now, is the climate changing?

Yes.

Are we as humans accelerating the change?

I personally think yes, we are.

But by what degree?

No one can answer this question and if they can't, then I refuse to join the climate change cult.
Reading back and saw this. You misunderstood. That is 97% of every study done measuring climate change has found humans are creating this current climate change. Your post assumes that 97% comes from a single study, which you then act like you know shit all about it and that it wasn't 'rational', which basically shows you are not even paying attention and are just trolling.

Trump will now either eat shit and lose face or stick to his guns and lose the election. His choice it seems. I truly don’t understand the market optimism today when it has been becoming increasingly clear that the Chinese offered all they’re going to offer under the circumstances. But tomorrow is Friday and the optimists will want to close the week out on a positive note.
It’s “buy the rumour, sell the news” so just opportunist day trading for a very limited time.

One of my retirement hobbies besides growing bud and building LED lights is FPV (First Person View) flying, an outgrowth of the modern RC hobby. The FPV community in America is howling about tariffs too, with 15% on purchases from places like Banggood and Hobby King, almost all FPV gear, parts and racing drones are made in china, soon 30% will be biting them too, I imagine it's much the same for many hobbyist in the States.

Here is an American boy who is an inspiration to many around the world (it's pretty international) and a truly great free style FPV pilot. This is one of many innocent activities that are being harmed by Trump's China trade fiasco. I love the video and also love the tune, hope you do too. Kinda off topic, but I do communicate with the American FPV community and they are pissed too.

This is his show reel of the past year's videos, this young fellow is not just a good pro FPV pilot but is in the business too, he competes internationally, not just in drone racing, but business too and Trump's trade war hurts this guy as well.
