$479 discount price for preorder. The email said special price for limited time and for returning customers or newsletter subscribers. I imagine the retail price will be similar to the 200w diamond.

and it draws 200watts for that price I hope!? that\s what I didnt like about my diamond, I paid wayyyyy too much money hehe, 500$ after tax and shipping last fall haha for a 100W light that probably draws 70

Supposed to draw 150w and perform the same or better than the 200w. Yeah you paid way too much for the 100w ds, thats how much we pay for the 200w here in the states. Shipping and customs got the best of you there. im very interested in your new fero, best of luck there.

yes puffenuff that is the light i am talking about. i paid a little more from sunnydayhydro ( $ 900 ) because he was offering a 60 day trial period. i thought it was worth the extra cash to be able to return it if its a flop. i talked to another vendor of the product and he is telling me that the new pro model is going to be cheaper then the original model. we shall see how well it works. i only grow 2 strains and know exactly how they perform under hps as well as different brands of leds. i was expecing some stretch because its a lower watt model but a week into flower and absolutely no stretch. so far so good.i will keep you posted.

Ha puff got the same email today(looking at it on my phone now)..........About time they put removable dust filters on the intake vents( means the fan is sucking out the hot air then/ that's right franjan)............Looks like they lurked a couple grow forums, solid upgrades and improvements IMO...........That Steveman grower has got to be working for them..........he's been getting free lights for years from advanced, making them a ton a money, he's got 420mag on lockdown with their stuff(good grower though).......

Edit: Shit... it's a removable FAN dust cover..........so it's pushing the air through the panel........damn Franjan wins again

Yeah the dust filters will be a nice addition. I clean mine with air duster pretty regularly but I stil find dust bunnies on some of my leaves. Steve is definitely getting free lights for his journals he does but I doubt he is on the payroll. I used to follow him over at 420 and I cant deny he is a great grower. Its obvious by the quality of his journals he puts in alot of effort in his grows. Wish I had the time and dedication to fully devote to my garden. When I ordered the xml I also asked a few other questions about it like the color temp of the white, how it compares to the 200w diamond, etc.

Picture update of the girls tonight as it's the last day of week 8. TBB will be chopped sunday and I'll start flushing the HP sometime this weekend/early next week just need to examine those ones a little closer before deciding.

Yeah........But he's not running an OP(maybe selling??), just his constant presence in the grow room made me figure he has no job other than marketing these lights(well) through his grows IDK/guessing...........like the dimmable drivers too..........looks like the ball is in HGL court now/ they are big competitors IMO....

Man I really like these new lights, but could never run them in my setup......gonna need cooling/exhaust for that in the summer

It doesn't help me though. My heatsinks work vertically, so blowing down on to them wouldn't work because the rising heat would stop any turbulence getting to the bottom half of the sink. So my fans are still sucking heat out, rather than blowing cool air in.

Week 9 Day 1. The TBB has been flushing for the past 2 days and is entering 36-48 hours of darkness before being chopped. I love the way it looks and smells, can't wait to cure this beauty. The HP is taking a bit longer, which is funny because it was supposed to be the quicker finisher out of the two strains, but it's going to finish up about a week behind. Definitely fatter though just not as tight as the TBB. That's the way it goes, different strains different gains. Each are lovely in their own right. Enjoy the pics, I'll get some of the TBB harvest next and preharvest HP pics too. New journal will be starting up in a couple weeks with new undecided strains.

Thank you Dawg! I try to treat my garden like it's a piece of art in it's own right. Harvest is approaching and a smoke report will be the final official update after 1-2 weeks of curing. Ideally I plan to cure for 3-4 weeks before really diving into the jars.

Much appreciated Endur0! I love the coloration too. Having never grown TBB, I don't know for sure but I'm just assuming the purple tint is because of the genetics of the strain.

Usually by the time my pot is cured properly more than half of it is gone hehe ... I am working on that.

cold temps when light off will also purple your plants, I am wondering if I will get that purple now that I don't use HIDs, the freshair comes from upstairs instead of outside...so no more cold temps at night... we'll see!!

LOL I know what you mean. I hear they have a support group for that now. Meets after the LED Anonymous meeting at the Y every Thursday. LOL
