I've had my own site (anime based) for years now and I tell all of my mods that as soon as you see a troll their banned. Trolls are worst than those kids you see on YouTube and the news beating up on one geeky kid, they should all be shot and burned. Get a fucking life and stop trying to fuck it up for the rest of us.

It can be funny sometimes, but persistent trolling can be a really serious issue. Trolling is manipulative behaviour for personal gain at he expense of others- malice and selfishness of the highest order. Really severe trolling (depending on the subject matter) doesn't just ruin people's forum experience but can have real implications with vulnerable people, or people with an autistic spectrum disorder like myself who aren't always sure if people are saying why they really mean or put up with a lot of teasing/bullying offline. You never know the true consequences of your actions towards someone at the other end of the computer screen until it's too late.
