Transplant FROM soil TO soilless or hydro?

How much would it shock the plants if you wanted to transplant them FROM soil TO soilless or hydro? What kind of stresses are we talking if done very carefully? The plants are about 12". Thanks.

Pretty high stress. You have to disturb the roots alot. You're probly better off just cutting a clone and starting it in the medium you want.

Thats alot of roots im not saying it cant be done but your gonna lose alot of growth if u do try it soak the soil in water then gently rinse the roots if u can use some thing like super thrive good luck
