First, to all the dads out there, Happy Father's Day! Enjoy your day, I'm trying but my damn kids keep bothering me. But what are they for anyways huh?

Hey no prob on the feedback, I am more than happy to do this, benefits me as well as everyone else who uses it.

Found a few more things you may want to take a look at and probably already know, but...

Any way to get the tab order of things to go in order as opposed to all over the tab? (just a personal peeve)

When you pick on the Phase pull down on the "Seeds/Plants/Harvest" tab and then pick each item in the pull down, the window for "Nutrient/Reservoir Status" propagates an entry for the reservoirs each time, so that you end up with multiples of the same thing

Also on the "Home" tab, nothing shows up under "Flower Status", "Harvest Status" everything shows up under the "Seed/Clone/Plant Status" like this:

Wish list items:
Is there any way to re-size the application window?
A way to copy a previous record that way I don't have to type everything back in.
A smoke test tab?
The ability to add tabs or alter tabs/text/info or all of the above?

But I did give it a good workout tried to click on everything I could possibly do, tried every check mark to see if it triggered an event. Will continue to hammer away at it and see if I can crash it, kill it or find anything else good or bad with it.

how do i get to this track your growth calender on here? I cant seem to find it and would like to do it as Ive just planted a few girls myself=)

Absolutely. I actually changed the tabindex a couple times but each time I added a new box or something, it screwed it up again . So I decided to just let it go until things are a bit more stable. Once we're pretty certain we've got all the Strain/Plant info we need, I will go back through and fix it.

Thanks for this, I haven't paid much attention to the statuses yet. Lx is working on the calendar so I'll leave this for him to take a look at. I imagine he just needs to re-work his existing code to accommodate the move to Plants and Phases.

Not sure on re-sizing. Lx will need to look at that one. This is my first time working with WPF controls and they act a little odd it seems when I've tried to make the form bigger to allow for more controls. I got a bit frustrated and am not ready to look at it right now .

Re: Copying a record - I don't see why this would be an issue. I'm not sure what WPF will allow, but maybe we could right-click on a record in the listbox and have a Copy option. Then you could change whatever was different. Copying the Events along with the plant record would be more of a challenge though.

Not sure what you mean about altering tabs/text/info - Would need more info there.

This is great info, thanks a lot! Do you have an account on CodePlex? I think Lx is hoping to use some of the Issue Tracker/Discussion features to go back and forth on the details of new features/bug fixes. I added your items there. Could you post details of the one re: altering tabs/text?

I don't think we've tackled that just yet. You're saying that you want to be able to note that the plant is say 12" today and 14" next week, 18" another few days later, etc? Then at the end or along the way see a graph or other presentation of the data? Right now, the strain/plant data is not saved against a particular date. I'm sure we could do something with the Events system though. Like maybe each time a Plant record is saved, we check to see if Height was updated. If it was, we could trigger an event that will log the new height with a datestamp. Then once we have a reporting mechanism, we could query all the "Height" events and plot their values. This is something I'm keen to add as well, so we'll get to it sooner or later.

Yes I have an account there now and I did post what (I hope) is clarification to the tab/text/info request.
Will attach a Excel file up on the Codeplex place to show you some ideas of things. I can't take credit for the spreadsheet just the final product. I found it at a couple of places and improved it a little here and there. Need to run to a dispensary and take care of some business but I should be back in a couple of hours and upload that for you all.

Hey DB and LX - Quick question - Why can't I PROMOTE a Harvest? The only way I can see a Harvest on the HOME tab is to enter a Date of Cure Start. Is this by design or do I need to go and enter another Issue Tracker item? Sorry about posting here but I had to give the CodePlex place a break, I think even their server is getting tired of me. But if you haven't looked there in a while, go take a look. I kind of entered a "few" things.

No worries.. we certainly have been looking. Great stuff . CodePlex was having issues for me too today. Not sure what's up. Anyway, I can add another Phase called "Curing" if we want. I just figure that any harvest would start curing once it's dry and then continue on curing... forever really? Didn't see the benefit. However, I'll admit that I've not had a great many harvests so perhaps there is some useful info there that we could be collecting?

Thought it was time to post a build, should be ready for RC's next week

If anyone out there is good in graphic design or user interface design and wants to help we need some attention in those areas the most. Also could use some help from anyone who wants to do bug testing between builds and QC

First stable release should be ready this weekend!

This is the binary files without the installer. We did test this one a fresh install of windows xp and windows 7 and the only windows 7 issue so far was an icon is missing that we've noticed.
