The best thing to do is measure the hight of your grow space and then divide it by 3 then that will be the hight to switch over to flowering. because plants can grow upto 3 times the size from what you switch over for example... veg untill 12 inches then switch to flower plant can grow upto 36 inches. just follow that and you should be safe

Yes the top 44 seeds are from nirvana seed bank, You are correct because nirvana did stop making selling top 44 for about 4 years but they have just released them again and i was lucky to get the last pack from my local seed shop. But im sure you will get them from the nirvana website. My friend grew them about 4 years ago and he said from what he can remember the top 44 plant had a massive yield of about 650gr per plant wet, and about 250gr dry weight.

was yield from a 250w cfl? and how tall did u let them grow

And let me tell you that 500 watt of CFL light does not use nowhere near as much power as 500 watt of sodium. my lights are costing me an extra £4 / $7 a month
nice grow...but isnt wattage the electricity used? therefor 500 watts of CFL uses the SAME amount of power as 500 watts of HPS.

i think you are correct but i dont know.

Last year i done a grow with 2 x 250 watt hps lights and i was needing to put about £20 a week on electricity. but i am now using 2x 250 watt cfl lights and i am only spending £13 a week on electricity ???? dont no why theere is any difference because like you say 500 watts is 500 watts

Anyway who gives a damn about wattage and power consumption?? the main reason for using CFL lights is so you dont get heat problems that you get from HPS lights..

Well it was easy,, all i done was replaced 5 x 100 watt bulbs with 5 x 40 watt bulbs in the rooms in my house IE bedroom, dining room ect. so that gave me 300 watts to play with before i went over the wattage that my house was already using for lighting.

yea that is very true. i will work some magic. besides we have low usage now. shouldnt be a prob for 500 extra., ill just do the bulb thing all 40's
