Too early to sex plant????

Ive always been able to sex my plants at the Pre Flower stage during Veg.

This is the point in the plants life where they reach sexual maturity and its a sign that the plant is ready to be flowered.

The pre flower stage should not be confused with flowering.

Flowering is official when you can see signs of sex at the end of the branches. But pre flower is when you can see sex at the branches / nodes.

I would say that the OP is very close to full on Preflower. In fact I think I see something in the first pic...
I just checked on them and found two tiny hairs coming out of the little pod. What do your trained eyes see?? Thanks!

I would say still too early... Our setups looks almost identical! I think I have one female that showed this morning. I'm gonna put up pics in my journal of what I believe are pistils!

I don't see any hairs in these two pics, but I did tell you it was a female from the pre-flower in the first pic you put up. After you switch the lights to 12/12, pistils will start to emerge from all the pre-flowers on the plant first. Make sure you take note of where the pre-flowers are located on the plant(between the Stipule and the new growth at any given node) so you'll be able to check for them next time around. A day or so after that, the buds will start to form at the end of each branch. Buds don't grow from where the pre-flowers are. Congrats on your baby girl bro!

Glad to be the first one to tell you that you have a "YOUNG LADY" there. There is a "pre-flower" in the first pic, and it is a female pre-flower. I love this part right here. This is where a whole shit load of ppl come in and tell me I'm crazy, or stupid, or I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. I just sit back and laugh. You have a female there bro. Who's takin' bets? Switch the lights to 12/12, and come back in 3-5 days and tell me what you see. Your plant is growing in the "alternating internode" pattern now, which means SHE is mature, and will render the best weed SHE is capable of rendering. Great job so far!
He is absolutely correct, the pre flower in the first pick is positively a female

Nah, I don't see any pre-flowers in any of those pics. Can you get a more recent pic of the node in the very first picture you put up on page 1? That's the node that has the best shot of the pre-flower.

if this is your very first grow (which is seems by your eagerness) it will pretty obvious when/if they turn female. From what i've seen, the males turn first and develop a small "crab" claw at the node intersections. The white hairs start out nearly microscopic. I amon my 2nd grow so i was less eager, but my first grow where 2 turned male i was driving myself insane looking for white hairs. Good luck!

I didn't see anything up higher on the branch, just that one lower.

I got them flowering now, so I'll know something soon.

I'm having fun trying figure out what sex they are and if they're males, I'll start another grow.

Thanks for your input!

Oh yea, 1st grow! I'm not driving myself insane looking, I just don't have anything else better to do. I'm disabled and have too much time on my hands!!

It's been at least 2 days since I noticed that preflower sack/growth and it hasn't grown nor opened. So either it's a stem, or it just hasn't fully developed. Either way, it's good to know that within two weeks I'll know the sex for sure since I went 12/12 yesterday.

Thanks to all for you input! I'll report on my findings.
