The plants are at Day 22 and was wondering if it's too early to till from these photos if they're girls or boys?

Most state that it takes two weeks into flowering before sexing, so then at this stage they're either?

are you 22 days old, or 22 days into flower? If 22 days old and not on 12/12 then you have a longggggg wait!

Day 22 from sprouting and not on 12/12. So too premature?

I'm a newbie looking at Jorge's photos and he shows a early male:"single green spurs growing from branch unions." Then he shows an early female: "a pair of white pistils growing from branch unions."

Still too premature?

I would say definitely to early to tell. Look at my journal. My plants look just like yours and I am now 10 days into Flowering. How do you take such good pictures? Most of my pictures turn out blurry!

The photos were taken on Marco setting and the spurs are relatively small. Yes, they do look like the photo in Jorge's book, but since I'm a newbie I was hoping a older/guru grower could educate me too.

I lucked out on the photo quality! I set it on Marco and push the button. I'll check out your grow, Tks!

Man I'd be majorly grateful if someone who's vegging, at least into week 3, could see if that same spur is on your plants? If so, is it on all of your plants?

I'm in a tight grow time block and any useful info would be appreciated!!

Note: My grow must end by May 1st.

they're doin fine. patience. I understand your time constraint. but you ain't gonna rush or push nature. it will do what it will do when it does it. just give it all the light water and nutrient she's supposed to have and you'll be amazed!

Fuck! I finally understand:clap:

Both male & female have single spurs at this stage/phase. Then at flowering the female develops a sack next to the spur, where two white pistils develop, leaving the male as a single and where nuts are grown.

Or am I just stoned and this is all a dream????????

Glad to be the first one to tell you that you have a "YOUNG LADY" there. There is a "pre-flower" in the first pic, and it is a female pre-flower. I love this part right here. This is where a whole shit load of ppl come in and tell me I'm crazy, or stupid, or I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. I just sit back and laugh. You have a female there bro. Who's takin' bets? Switch the lights to 12/12, and come back in 3-5 days and tell me what you see. Your plant is growing in the "alternating internode" pattern now, which means SHE is mature, and will render the best weed SHE is capable of rendering. Great job so far!

Man, I sure hope you're right! I'll be going 12/12 Friday, so within two weeks I should know for sure.

Depending on the strain it could be much eariler than 2 weeks. My ladies showed sex withing 5 days of 12/12.

Keep an eye out for those white hairs and if you do not have a magnifying glass I recommend getting one. It makes sexing your plants alot easier and earlier.

Oh cool! 5 days is much shorter than 14. Yea, I'll be getting a magnifying glass today. Thanks for posting

Ive always been able to sex my plants at the Pre Flower stage during Veg.

This is the point in the plants life where they reach sexual maturity and its a sign that the plant is ready to be flowered.

The pre flower stage should not be confused with flowering.

Flowering is official when you can see signs of sex at the end of the branches. But pre flower is when you can see sex at the branches / nodes.

I would say that the OP is very close to full on Preflower. In fact I think I see something in the first pic...
