So just got three VS lights delivered, but they aren't put together. What's up with that? first time I bought them they came all put together, this time I just hit the reorder button and they come in parts? That kind of sucks, I'm sure they are easy enough to put together, but that doesn't seem right.

Lol, never mind, it’s just the ends you got to put it, it’s all put together. Till I got it unwrapped I thought I was going to have to wire it etc.

Good deal. I know they started offering fixtures with mild assembly to help offset the cost of shipping, but thought it is an option.

Took all of 5 minutes, but without knowing what was going on my heart sank so quick when I saw the boxes. Like seeing a box on Christmas morning you know isn't the size of the Millennium Falcon.

they changed the color temp on my fatty vs to 3500k. I like the idea of splitting it into 3 for more modularity but its hard to say no to the fatty vs its like a funny car compared to a street legal car. sure you could drive the street car anywhere you wanted. but at full blast the funny car would get all the attention. :bigjoint:

Second grow ; Day 71 of flower ;
my first grow I chopped too early , this time I don’t want to cut too late...

Do these look ready ? I know there’s a debate regarding flushing , but I will be flushing last 3 days .
I’m thinking cutting them next weekend?

also is it ok to leave the light cycle on , and cut the plants 1 day at a time , possibly taking Saturday and Sunday ,.

thank you

So, your 10 weeks into flowering. What is the estimated time for flowering for the strain(s) that you're growing? Sativa's that are harvested with amber trichomes are going to be more like an Indica high. If they're Indica's they are going to be stonier. Milky trichomes in most cases are optimal. Once they start going to amber the plant is starting to lose some potency. It's all about personal preference.

So I just went in to flower. I'm using these earlier in the cycle than normal.
The flower powers in action.
These are on for approximately 10 minutes before the LED kicks in on the 12 hour cycle. Then running for 15 minutes at the start of every hour thereafter. View attachment 4878087View attachment 4878088
This is an update on my grow using a Timber Fatty with supplemental UV. I'm now in day 28 of flowering. The UV is used for 15 minutes at the start of every hour of the 12 hour light cycle. I'm seeing very little heat stress. For the last week I had the UV and grow light about 8 inches from the canopy. (just backed them off to 12 inches) Getting early trichome and terpene development. The plants did not develop as planned. I'm growing Bruce Banner (small plant) and Fruity Chronic Juice. I started the FCJ about 10 days after the BB. However, the FCJ went crazy and is overwhelming the BB. Ironic as the BB is mostly a Sativa and the FCJ 90% Indica. Overall the plants are looking very healthy with little stress indicators of any sort. Using Cultured Solutions. PPM 840, EC 1.2, Ph 5.9.
