So I was out picking up a new stash and watching canada win gold (FTW) in the hockey game and got a call from the lady... well my baby is hurt pretty bad

the leaves are all chewed but still have alot of green, the stalk was bit off about an inch to 2 inches from the top, do you think she will be alright? how badly will this stunt the growth if at all?

That cat looks guilty...

I think you're alright. It won't kill the plant, just might take a few days to recover. Maybe try keeping cat and plants separate from now on...cat hair in buds sucks too...

The cat you see in my avatar is a prolific plant eater.

I am currently stoned off a plant I just harvested, which she chewed up pretty bad earlier in its life. Yours will take a few days to a week to recover, but you should be fine.

Good luck!

Actually, your cat looks like our russian blue but with black fur and crazy big ears.

Good idea, mother nature will fix that plant right up in no time

Cats are bastards some times, hes prolly still laughing about it.

topping will make it bushier an could help with yeild, but it will slow it down about a week, it will be fine.

You should LST your cat. lol

That sucks!!

I've got a big 3' x 7' piece of wood blocking the entrance to my grow room from the ground to 3' up. He doesn't try to jump it.

I'm thinking of removing it and just using the curtain... I think I've "trained" him (as much as you can train a cat). But I think when he sees the curtain he'll just think the wood is still behind it. Hopefully it'll work, he's given up trying to get in unless I'm in there and the board is moved.

Funny story though... my other cat doesn't mess with plants. He will smell them and that's all. Tonight I was in the midst of tending to plants when dinner was ready and I went up to eat. Came down about 45 minutes later and opened the curtain, moved the board.... and my other cat was just sitting in there quietly!! I'd accidentally trapped him in there! Good thing it wasn't overnight! He's such a good boy compared to the other cat!

Oh, and my Boxer puppy, tore the heads of my Light of Jahs, jus stems standin up, with nothin else..

My boy cat tommy is pretty expert at getting outdoor MJ plants to herm from stress. He loves the smell of MJ, and would bounce around happy as hell, like a little kitty stoned on catnip, everytime he got into the garden. He rarely ever ate any of the plants, but he loved to smell, rub up against, and smack around the leaves and branches, usually while curled up inside the flower pot at the base of the plant. He once hermed my entire outdoor crop during weeks 4-6 of flowering, from the stress caused from him doing this to every single plant. Little bastard, but I still love him anyway, lol.
