Hwll yeah post pics! Lol. Maybe not in here but definetly start a thread or somethin... And illegal sorry to be a dick like that but ur showing true ignorance... The FACT is whether u consider it a breakthrough or not bp IS better than dwc and it does work faster. So maybe U think its stupid and perhaps u don't feel the need that's fine just don't spew unfactual ignorance about the page as if its going out of style (we have enough here already). Meanwhile ill be halfway into a cure while ur starting to check trichs.

** on a side note while he seems ignorant on this case illegal HAS helped me before and can be a contributing member just stop takin the mormon approach to dwc and throwin it in our face. post some pics to "prove" ur point if u think its sooooo much better post some pics to help sway us. Just plz stop with the ignorance its ruining a good thread.

You tread a fine line. It's ok to call an idea or a claim ignorant, but not an individual. Try to focus on content and not individuals. Strive for logical arguments not insults. If you think what I am saying is ignorant (?) or incorrect come up with something better than just asking us to take your word for it. You say "bp IS better than dwc and it does work faster." OK, how does it do that? Where, exactly, do all the other dwc variations fail? And especially, explain about the inner and outer roots.

You need thicker skin my friend.

To be honest, he IS using logic and reason, and you have failed to get there.

You ask for certain explaination. Why ? Maybe we don't know the scientific reason for it, but pics are proof. His plain DWC grew slightly slower then the BB. Thats all there is. It is enough proof for me. It's not enough for you ? That is fine, actually it is GREAT ! So, what are you doing to get the answers ? What experiments do you have setup to test these theories ?

HAVE YOU EVER GROWN A CANNABIS PLANT ? Pics fo harvest ? How much yield ? What hydro system did you use ? Would like to know more about what qualifies YOU to make any statements.

At least you've got that right.

I'm not experienced enough to say that any method is the "best" or that any other system sux. That being said, as a newb, BP helped me avoid some problems that occurred before I added the irrigation pump and hub. For instance, I'm using My BP system to veg my plants. In the past, if I added a seedling or a clone to the system, every now and then the R/W cube would dry up, and I keep my water level pretty close to the net pots. What I discovered is that until the roots make it out of the cube, they are dependent on the moisture in the cube. (not enough without feeder tubes) It's also very noticeable in standard DWC that once the roots hit the water they instantly take off and grow exponentially!! So why not help them along by feeding them the bubbly solution fro day 1? It makes sense to me...

I borrow Rose's pictures, knowledge, ideas, creations, designs and......well I think that's about it. But hey, we're in a gang...it's okay!

Of course it makes sense and I do feed them the "bubbly solution" from day one. Well not really day one, I germ the seed until it cracks first. I just don't use foolish feeder tubes to do it and neither do hundreds of other dwc growers here. What do you think they do? Sit and watch their seedlings dry up and hope the roots get in the water first? It's like trying to talk to zombies. I thought the name bubbleheads was just a slightly creepy name but apparently it has some literal basis.

ps - I'm busy for the rest of the night. Sorry I don't have more time to poke holes in the tenuous fabric of the bubblehead's blind faith - but I'll be around bright and early tomorrow!

Look who's talking about blind faith. Plenty of people like to do regular DWC and get great results from it, but the pictures prove that the feeding tubes give the plants a head start, and they keep that lead throughout the entire grow. You may not want to believe us, and you don't have to, but please stop filling this thread with ignorant arguments. Thanks.

P.S. Have you ever had a successful grow? If so, please show us.

that's just fine, I happen to like the fact that my system maintains itself. There's no need to feed them manually if adding a simple pump, hub and tube can do it for you, and more effectively might I add. There's also no need to ruin a good discussion with childish insults, it makes you look silly..

I was gonna respond but found ignore much handier. Anywho back on topic. I am wanting to do a grow with 4 buckets encircling the light hanging vertically from the cieling. I was thinking a reserve res would be nice though like set them on a rack and put a drain hose with a valve from the bottom witha screen over the bottom of the bucket to keep the roots from growin down the drain tube then res change day I could just open the valves let them dump into the tote and dump the tote down the drain. Idk sounds dumb now that I read it I just need a more constructive way to fit 4 into the little space I have for veg. I would like to do a remote res but then I'd have to go ebb and flow I'd imagine... Soo many thoughts

can anyone tell me how to ignore?

erkel, you just sparked an idea in my head!! tell me if this makes sense to you, how about an ebb and flow system that combines with dwc a bit. Here's what I mean.

you could have a tub, that holds the plants, it would have to be somewhat shallow and easy to flood, add a couple of air-stones. You put the air pumps on the same timer as your flood pump. Underneath that tub, you have the much bigger res tub, which would make it easier to do maintenance on the res.. (adding nutes, doing a water change, troubleshooting problems etc...) all the while never disturbing your plants!! Now, why add the airstones you ask. Well, my Idea would be to use a system like this strictly for flowering,( I think BP is too effective in veg), and by using this setup I could allow the flood cycle to last all throughout the "lights on period", and let the roots breathe while they sleep.. I'm not sure if there would be any benefit to this, but it sounds interesting, would it be effective to feed the plants all day, and not at night?
