Thanks for the really fascinating detailed photos of this very very unusual growth. Im really interested in freaks and will be following this girl very closely . Her leaves are wicked looking. They have this beautiful creased like strenghts to them and looked mighty healthy as well. Maybe with the roots being exposed a bit more the extra oxygen that will recieve might be super benifical . I wonder if they need to be protected from the light? oh yeah.. how was the concert? take it easy . DAT

Hey what up DAT? Glad ya stopped by. Yeah I got a little freak nasty going on! Lol. Your right about her leaves and everytime I look at her I think of a horny toad. Dam I'm smoking some good shit! Lol. But the leaves appear to be healthy and do have some strangeness in a good way to them. Now that I've garnered a lil interest in her she's definitely staying. Yeah I tried to get the best shots I could. Not too bad for the iPhone!

What up RIU? Quick update on my girls. I gave em a feed yesterday. Switched from just the rhizotonic and ro water to the whole nute regime. Mixed up 3L of RO water with 6ml of rhizotonic, 7.5ml of cannazyme and coco a and b. Oh and a half teaspoon of calmax. The big girl is at 5" and looking really healthy! She's looking perfect IMO. Gonna have to top her here in a week or so. Gonna try and nurse that topped part and get her healthy to roadtrip to Cali. I have to LSD beans soaking and gonna germinate em soon. Along with the topped part from the Ultimate these two LSD plants will roadtrip to Cali to be transplanted to my bros outdoor garden in Cali. Can't wait to see how they turn out! Here are pics of her. Also I want to do a little pruning! Is it cool to take off those bigger fan leaves now? Should I wait till I top to prune some also? Any advice on pruning would be great!



My freaky girl seems to be doing alright. She's still short, at the most 3" tall. Her leaves are green but kinda freaky looking. Got some curling going on the edges. Doesn't that usually indicate heat stress? I've been checking temps and RH a couple times a day. In the low to mid eighties at it's highest. She's basically looked like this since true leaves formed. The tall girl shows no indication whatsoever of anything wrong(heat,humidity,nutes)! Is she looking like this because of the knot in her stem? She is having good root development I suspect. One of the pics I'll post is of the bottom of the airpot of the freak. Look closely and you'll see little root tips coming thru the bottom. That's a good sign right? I'm wondering if I should top her at the same time as the other one no matter her height? Will this get her a little taller? Any suggestions people? Any info and advice is much appreciated! Also a quick question bout co2. When is the best time to introduce it? Last grow I got my co2 setup and switched to 12/12. Should I be using it in veg? I was thinking I'd start it about a week or so into flower to help avoid major stretchage during that phase. Is this a good move? Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Hey Chroic, LOOking good ship mate. I would top the freak, im really really liking the looks of her. she is super wicked with those pointey sharp razor sharp pointed leaves...pretty high right now on some good local grown dope. Happy trails to Cali my friend. DEF no no on pruning your girls. I think they need all their leaves still at this point. have a good one i will catch up with you later!

What up Ambra? Not bad here. Yeah my freak is gonna get topped along with the tall girl. Yeah her leaves trip me out a little. I swear whenever I look at her I'm reminded of a little horny toad. Yeah I know smoke another on chronic. Lol I swear it does though. Str8 trippin! Lol
Yeah I can't wait to roadtrip. My wife and I love roadrips. Lol roadrips and roadtrips. Lol. Speaking of which I just checked on the two LSD seeds I got germinating between paper towels. Both have taproots showing so I'll be placing those in coco today. Can't wait to see how they turn out outside.

I'm pretty high right now also. Nice little wake n bake(SLH) from some locally grown dope for me also. Had a late night last night. Went to the drive in to see horrible bosses and bad teacher. Both good but horrible bosses was better. That local dope I hooked up with straight from the master gardener had my ass busting up. Was hittin some auto blue and snow white. Dam that snow white was stanky. My wife was like dammmmm that's strong! What kind is that? Dats sum good azz shit! Dats what dat iz! Lol

Sup Chronic? just curious as to what distance do you keep your light from the tops of the plants? Raising them up some could help speed up growth, although your node spacing wouldnt be as tight and some of that dense undergrowth might stretch. As for co2, id wait til into flower like you said. Not sure whats up with those horny leaves, looks crazy though. Goodluck bro!

What up puff? Thanks for stopping by bro! I keep my light at 18" above. Supposedly it get more of the spectrum. That's according to the manufacturer. Yeah I'll wait on the co2 till about 10 days into flower. I think that's what I did wrong last grow. Introducing co2 right at light switch. I think I should wait a bit for the stretch to pass. Hey what up RIU? Quick update for ya. Well last night I topped both plants. Yes even freak nasty. The tall one was at 9" and freak nasty was at 4 1/2". I am trying to nurse the topped portion to good health so I can bring it to Cali on my roadtrip to plant In my bros outdoor garden. He's all cool wit it says bring all you want. Lol well I'm hoping to bring down five for him. Right now I have two LSD seedlings going and last night I dropped two Super Lemon Haze seeds and also two Matanuska Thunder Fuck seeds into water for an over night soak. The SLH seeds were from a Dr. And the MTF was from some medicine I picked up a good year ago at a local dispensary. I found 6 seeds in that qrtr. And have been holding on to them for awhile. The LSD seeds were feminized and the SLH and the MTF are non fem. These are the first non fem seeds for me. Dam I hope at least one from each strain is a fem! That topped portion I'm trying to nurse is all drooped over. Basically I topped the plant dipped that topped portion in some rooting gel and stuck it in the coco that was prepped with ro water and rhizotonic and ph'd. Sure hope she comes around. Checked on her this morning and she is slumped over big time! This is another first for me nursing a cutting to life. Hope it works. The tall girl was looking really healthy. Nice and green. I'm glad I topped freak nasty. Her undergrowth looks a lot better than you've seen in the pics I've posted! Newer leaves are looking normal. Maybe the toppin will do her right. The tall girl was topped above the second node. Not positive but I think I got freak nasty above the second node. Hard to tell with the way she is growing. That knot is keeping her low to the coco. What up RIU? Day 3 of flower here. Both plants are doing fine. The tall one is about 10" and the freak is at 5". They both have responded well to the topping I gave em a couple weeks ago. I've also been doing a little pruning to both. They seem to respond well to that also. Not to mention they look a lot better after a trim. So far so good with both if them. The freak is still smaller but appears to be coming along. I trimmed some of the low growth from her yesterday. Like I said looks much better. Trimming and pruning is all new to me. On my previous 3 grows I just let my girls go Au Naturale. Lol they had that 70's bush look. Now they are trimmed with a landing strip. Lmao.
I also have six seedlings doing aight. What has surprised me is the top I chopped from my tall ultimate girl has recovered and is now standing straight up. It's taken her a couple weeks but she finally came around. She has no big fan leaves I trimmed those cause they were crunchy. Wonder how she will turn out. Originally she was gonna make the trip to Cali with the six seedlings to be transplanted to my bro's outdoor garden. I'm having second thoughts on her. I'm curious to see how she'll turn out under 12/12. Fuck it! I'm keeping her as my little side experiment. She's looking like a little palm tree at the moment.
Probably gonna wait at least another week to turn the co2 on. Want to wait for the stretch to subside before introducing the co2. Wondering if that's what happened to my Blue Mystic last grow. I turned the co2 on right at the light switch to 12/12. That plant outgrew my cabinet. Don't know if I should have waited about a week or so but I'm gonna wait this time. Another thing is the ambient temps outside my cabinet. This time of year it is hot in the closet my cabinet is in. Especially in the afternoon! Due to the heat my atmospheric controller is always keeping the exhaust fan going to keep the temps inside desirable. Therefore the co2 is off while the fan is on. I might be aight though since I got the light on during the night. Anyway I'm outta here starting to ramble and gotta get ready to roadtrip. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Growing people!

I hope you have a safe road trip to cali cuz the roads are pretty crazy around here this time of year. they just came out with a new remaster of Megadeth's Peace Sells but whos buying.
