Thanks man! I was thinking though, it depends on what you call three weeks. I realize that I don't consider them in the flower stage until 5 days of transition under 12/12. So if you don't consider transition, then those are pics of day 26. That may explain why they are so much farther along. (Hope I didn't misrepresent myself there).

I have them under 1000w HPS. There's only two of them, and they are flowering with a bubblicous crop. I put them under 12/12 the day after they showed their sex (I never trust fem seeds, and it's a good thing since one of the three I planted was male!) So they were quite small, maybe 18 inches. I've heard they like to stretch, so I wanted to get them flowering while they were small.

Hey Dr Chron yeah bro if the stretching is a problem there is a great product out called Dr. Nodes its amazing. Stops all vertical growth and focuses the plants energy on the buds and bushiness.

Your right about the stretching I think you should be good now. But if you do have height restrictions i strongly suggest you look into that product I named.

Now the fun begins!!

Well even at day 26 they look great. I've been counting my flower days from when I switched the light to 12/12. Not sure if that's right but that's how I've been doing it. Anyway I'll still take some pics on day 21 and 26. I topped mine and once it recovered a little I switched the light to 12/12. The tall one was at 13" I think when I switched the light. She's at 25" now In after just about three weeks. The tall one has been showing sex for about two weeks at least and the small one has just started showing sex in the last week. That's cool you got a 1000w hps going. I just got one from my bro in Cali. Need to get a bulb for it though. Any suggestions on a good bulb to buy. Can't wait to see that bad boy in action! Right now I got a 270w Enhanced Spectrum Supernova LED going. So how's that bubblicious? I have one fem seed I got on my last order. Got a friend who's waiting for me to grow it.

Right on FTS! Thanks for the info I'll check that stuff out. Yeah I'm hoping they got most of the stretch done. Only got about another foot and a half to two feet of space left. Thanks again! Good looking out!

I'm using Ultra Sun for this grow. Haven't noticed a big difference between brands, but still don't have loyalty to a specific bulb yet. I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to keeping records, so I log the details of each grow, then compare the differences just to tweak things.

Not sure which is the "right" way to count flowering days, but I just start the countdown after five days because that's when they start getting the full bloom nute regimen. (I do a half bloom/half veg the first day of 12/12, then a flush the next watering.)

Sounds like you got a ton of vertical growth since flowering. I wonder if there's any way you could get your lights closer? I use the 1000w in cool tubes, so I get them within about 10 inches from the canopy. Since I started getting my lights closer I've found they stretch WAY less. Every inch closer counts from my experience (although I'm not nearly as experienced as some. Only been growing a couple years really)

Bubbalicous is doing really well. Long thick colas, 4 or 5 per plant. Looking like it'll be a huge harvest. I like the strain for vaporizing. It's not as strong as some others I've done, but I like the flavor alot, especially from the vape.

Thanks alot for the info. As for my light I was told by the manufacturer to keep the light 18" above. As of now I have it off of the ratchet pulley I use and removed the hanging harness also. I now have it supported by two pieces of wood that I have Put inside the cabinet close to the top allowing airspace for the fans. Just a little mod to the cabinet I had to do for my last grow. The Blue Mystic turned into a beast and outgrew the cabinet. Had her bent and tied in all kinds of positions. Maybe my next grow I'll wait to put the light onto the wood supports and keep the light close for as long as the growth will let me.

Looking good, did some trimming I see.
Thanks for stopping by sen.c. Yeah I've been trimming for the first time. My previous grows I've let em do their thang. Now I'm doing some trimming of the bottom and the big fan leaves blocking out bud sites. Hopefully it helps. I know it's helping keep em under control inside the cabinet. I'm a rookie at trimming and pruning. Any suggestions anyone?

Don't trim leaves that are blocking buds. Those big fan leaves are photosynthesis factories. Your buds don't need light, the leaves do. The only time I remove a big fan leaf is if it will expose LOTS more leaves to light.
Remember that buds don't photosynthesize, and when you remove leaves you are removing the plants ability to use light. Light grows buds, but buds don't need to see the light.

Yeah only remove dead foilage and lower leaves/buds. It gets hard not to want to pick those babies but like stark said they are the solar panels of the plant. Have you thought about supplemental lighting?

Yeah your totally right! I should just be trimming the bottom stuff. And as far as supplemental lighting are you talking cfl? My LED is good for all stages of growth which is the reason I bought it I didn't want to have to add any supplemental lighting since I'm working in a small area. I have a 270W Enhanced Spectrum Supernova LED from HID-HUT. It was spendy but I am on my fourth grow with it and it has proven and already paid for itself. I'm very satisfied with it. Here is an email I received from the manufacturer on the specs
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our Supernova, it is our most popular LED array at this time.

The actual power draw is 273 watts at full power. *They use Edison LED bulbs, and have 110 degree angle. *In our opinion, our light is better than most on the market. *It is a full spectrum for flowering (the ES one at least), is adjustable in case you're vegging with it or growing in a smaller area, and it has a 3 year warranty. *We can repair the lights indefinitely and since they are not a stamped on circuit board individual bulb changes are still possible.

Thanks, let us know if you have any more questions,

I agree with you! Thanks I got a little carried away. Lol.
Thanks for the advice also.

BLOW THAT SHIT UP RUDE BOY :)

LOVELY DOG AND SHOT :)
Thanks Las. I traded a friend 9grams of medicine to come out and take a bunch of pics. My wife is making calendars and a couple posters of my boy.
WHat are you feeding them for ppm? Got these in veg
I'm in flower and I feed them canna nutes and atami bloombastic. I last mixed up 3gl using the canna online calculator. I mixed 33ml of canna coco a&b along with 5.5ml of canna rhizotonic and 27.5ml of canna cannazyme. Also mixed in 6ml of bloombastic. The canna calc called for an ec of I think 2.3. My mix had an ec of 1.9. Oh I also used a teaspoon of calmax which brought my ro water to an ec of 2.0. I don't use the canna pk13 or the canna boost which is factored into the canna online calculators calculations. I use the bloombastic Instead of those the pk and cannaboost.

Anyone use Bushmaster or Dr. Nodes during flower? More specific three weeks into flowering? Any feedback on these products would be greatly appreciated!

What up RIU! Just throwing up a few pics of the ladies tonight at feeding time. Took some more pics of that Tumor on the freak. It's growing! Lol went down to the local Hydro shop to buy some more Canna coco A&B. Getting ready to grub on some of my wifes Enchiladas. Time to go Medicate before dinner. Later people have a killa weekend!

Hey, CD! I fucking LOVE Bushmaster! It does just what it says, a rarity for MJ products. I just used it on a couple of ladies that were headed too close to my 600w HPS lights, and I'm about 3 weeks into flower (although most use it as soon as they flip to 12/12). I've never had a plant grow more than 3 more inches when using it. It bushes them out and forces flowering, too. Just be careful, it's strong shit and you can burn your girls if you're not careful. Start with half strength and go from there. Good luck!

Hey TD thanks for stopping by! I appreciate the feedback +rep to ya bro! So is this the first time or have u used it before three weeks into flower? Dam if you've used it at three weeks, with good results then maybe I'll stop and puck some up tomorrow. I'm sure I'm gonna need something I just measured and I got 13" of space till reaching the light. I'll make sure to start out with a light dose even though this strain The Ultimate seems to take everything I feed them with ease. So far no signs of burn at all. How often do u feed the bushmaster? Thanks again for the info!

I started using the bushmaster last grow about 3 weeks into flower, the girls in the closet (stopped growing in there now) were stretching because they got too much dark sometimes as I had to be home to have the door open. I read about BM and thought it wouldn't really work, but it did. Instantly. I would start using it ASAP as they'll grow another couple inches before they stop. I also hear that it makes them finish faster, but I haven't had that experience. The great part is you only use it once! You run it for about 3-5 days, and they suggest that you don't have a really high ppm level while running it, so I cut down to about 700ppm with it running in my rez (I grow hydro). Sounds like your girls are indestructible, what's the THC % listed on that strain? I'm doing Vanilla Kush (my favorite everyday smoking weed) and Strawberry Diesel this grow, and the VK boasts a 22% THC. BLOWS MY MIND!!!

What up TD! Right on Bro! Thanks again for the info. Aight you've convinced me, I'm gonna try some Bush. Dam that VK and the strawberry diesel sounds killa. I'm gonna check those strains out. Yeah the ultimate strain review says they are heavy feeders and believe me they are. Here is the strain review.
Dutch Passion The Ultimate is*from careful breeding.***We have created one of our most important strains,*we call it The Ultimate*as it combines some of the heaviest yields we have ever seen with genuine connoisseur quality.
It's cannabis seeds*produce heights of 60-75cm, ideal for the indoor grow room.* Flowering time is 8-10 weeks, with explosive bud growth in the last 2 weeks. The Ultimate (50% Indica, 50% Sativa) will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle and*is resistant to moulds and bud rot making it a good greenhouse choice too.
Our growers have never seen a plant yield as heavily with this level of quality.* This is a recession busting strain of epic proportions and is guaranteed not to disappoint.* This strain is already setting new standards amongst the Dutch commercial growers and is set to become a Dutch Passion legend.
