The true nature of Now

Its when the Universe equals 0. :-) (Wait, that's now!)
You know, I just sat down to finish the logic puzzle. I was about to say,
if Now is the Sea of Eternalismal thru which all events exist, i.e. not soon,
not after, acting in the Now, then it follows, that point of observation
exist as the universe changes it's locality state. The zero state, now,
I so like that, kitty!

Laser beams, align there frequencies, electrons tunnel. Quantum state
locality pairs can be disrupted and magnifed. In Science.

i read this thread from time to time to see if it still gives me a headache and it does ;-) makes it feel all fuzzy, like those freakn suduko puzzly things :peace:

Yeah, it can get pretty freeky. And it can be pretty and simple. Ever watched a rock in a steam?
Lot's of folks, including me, can get an interesting vision of this concept, by using this analogy.

The rock sits in the stream and is subject to the water, at least on the outside. It has more pressure
up stream and less down. It's slowly getting ragged and eventually will be buried. But, it's quite still
and insulated on the inside and is managing to displace the water, for now. Beautiful.

You sit in your human body. Your body and everything else, but your quantum mind, is the river of time.
But, you are safe and and insulated on the inside and are managing to displace the spacetime, for now. Beautiful.

...does time weigh anything? Tick (up) tock (down) Breathe In - Breathe Out. Should've put this in the gnostics thread

But "space x time" dose not its self move so how do we feel this current you speak of. You are the one in movement relative to the time.

If the reactions between space x time and objects react similar to fluids is it actually possibly to harness the power caused by displacement. The same way an airfoil displaces air to cause a differential in pressure

...this is kinda cool. Thanks for posting it - I was in my basement just now and was thinking of displacement and cavitation while doing some random thing. Checked out the forum and there it is again.

Breath is now. In my view, since the nature of matter is to displace spacetime where energy does not, then time is the weight of all matter. Matter slowly evaporates into energy and spacetime is filling in to speed that up. This I call entropy.

Breath can take us into Now as a way to ignore or drift beyond the incessant inner dialog that ties us to Time(durations). We escape the weight of the universe. Bliss is there and joy... just speaking from personal experience. The Pearl of Great Price, since I must litteral lose my mind for the experience. A timelessness moment of Now.

Well, don't we feel the current as the one way arrow of entropy? We get older, others are younger. It's just an analogy, btw. A thought puzzle. A Kundun, in Buddist terms. Space, I note, is considered to be filling in. That seems to fit.

EDIT: Just thought of this. The picture there, show space being displaced. To where is
it displaced? Into what? There is the motion. All matter creates a kind of bow wake
against the Now. We ride a matter-energy-space-time (MEST) organism that also experiences the bow wake of displacing matter against the gi-normous NOW. :)

...ah oui, the pearl. There's a hidden blessing in madness. ...and we are madness.

*more on this in a bit...

My spin on aging is that the light waves we are exposed to our whole life causes it. If you imaging the superposition of a photon of light most of them will pass thru your body with out hitting the atoms that make up your cells. But some of them will hit your cells and alter or dislodge them. over time the more this happens.

Not just what causes our aging, the aging of the universe. What ever happens it's still now.

...Ryan - so are galaxies moving away from 'everything'? This may appear at first glance to be an easily answered question, but I'm not sure about that.

no they are accelerating away.
...ok, but does this mean that they are accelerating away from everything in the universe? I mean, we see them as accelerating away from 'us'. Would we say the same if we lived on another planet? This is what I meant. :) Seems to me that would indicate an infinite amount of 'points' to accelerate away from. Hope that's making some sense.
