I found this on ebay yesterday. Seems decent enough... any thoughts anyone??
(by the way, it was But It Now.. haha so it should be here soon..) the seller also has a reasonably priced TDS/EC meter I'm considering, scroll to the bottom of that page, you'll see it, it's blue.

Yeah I'm looking forward to getting started myself. I purposely started this thread ahead of time, so I could gather as much information as possible. I really want this grow to be successful, my Waterfarm grow (link in sig) seems to be at a bit of a stand still..

That looks legit, i would go with that, cant beat 25 bucks, i'll stop by the other thread

I have this "tracking number" from the seed bank. Doesn't really track like a UPS or FedEx tracking number. Updates are pretty rare with USPS tracking... At any rate, typed it in this morning and my seeds are in New York City somewhere as we speak. They arrived sometime on May 29 not bad considering that the order was placed May 27! So they hit US soil around Friday last week, with any luck they should be here by the weekend! (With a shit load of luck they could be here as early as tomorrow I would suppose) Once they get here its only a few days before they are in a cabinet under lights and growing they're green goodness!

Now that I got you creeped out..

They arrived this afternoon, my girl had to sign for them  arrived in about a week no trouble! I HIGHLY recommend Attitude Seedbank to anyone looking for a reliable seed source. All ten arrived in ORIGINAL breeder pack, other than the two freebies.

Soo with all that in mind, 12 seeds to choose from! I plan to only grow three at a time, at least this go around, for sake of root space in the AeroGarden.

In my possession....
From Greenhouse Seed Co.
1-A.M.S.
1-Church
1-Lemon Skunk
1-Great White Shark
1-Cheese
1-White Widow
2-White Rhino
2-Train Wreck

From G13 Labs (Freebies)
1-White Widow
1-Quicksilver

All seeds are marketed as feminized, so high hopes for good bud. I plan on growing Lemon Skunk and White Widow. Not sure about the 3rd lady... Maybe Church????

What do you think I should grow in addition to the Skunk and Widow??

I would try to not grow more than one strain at a time, especially in such a small res...

I say this because different strains feed at different rates... and thrive in slightly different PPMs...

I say grow one at a time and train her with some LST, allwing her to veg long enough to give you a decent yield....

You won't really hurt them... it will just be hard to provide them both with optimal conditions...

My 2 cents though... and I never tell you what you WANT to hear...lol...

Cheers...:joint::peace:

that may not be what i "want" to hear... but i really like that idea. keep it simple. learned my lesson with the hydrofarm...
with that thought in mind, lemon skunk will begin germinating by the weekend!

it is a small rez, but it can be done though, but since there are fems. like the holy gyspy said, maybe just one plant will be good, i have seen monsters come from the AG, so anything is possible

Thanks for the part that touches me SICC, but you know I am still a newb too...

Now, Shack, have you considered using a bigger res than the AG...

There is no reason why you should be restricted to 1 gallon...

Get a rubbermaid tote, throw an airstone in there and your golden...

Then you can do more than one plant with plenty of space...

Have you sen the "STEALTH HYDRO BUBBLEPONICS"?

Roseman is awesome and he has a thread dedicate to helping newbs get set up...

You already have everything... all you need is a tote...

Start them in the AG and as soon as the roots are in the water, transplant the "pods" into the lid with wholes...

I guarantee you will not regret this if you do it...

Bigger res will give you more stability, which will mean more vigorous growth due to less fluctuations in pH...

Just a thought... but it is a good one...lol.. and you KNOW I'm not hating on the AG, just wanting you to have a better grow...

Cheers Bro...

Listen to Gypsy...i have had many grows in the AG..IT PROMOTES STEM ROT! I have lost my entire crop twice due to rotting stems and then i had to try to clone,It was a mess.Well if i were u...u have enough hydro experience,i would go to a system like the BP that holds GALLONS of water. When those plants gets BIG.(this also happened ro me).i filled the AG to the TOP with water and nutes,Went on a lil weekend vacation(FRI-SUN)i came bak to dying plants and an empty res.The AG is good if you have nothing else to work with.I dont know bout u but i dont wanna have to worry about them not getting fed when i leave for a couple days.
The AG is not made for MARIJUANA! can u grow in it yes!But man you have to baby that machine ,,check ur ph daily, water levels,,We wanna keep it as simple as possible..Do you a BP grow and i promise you wont be dissapointed.I NEVER had those probs in the BP system or you can build on similar.I still have mine and will use it to clone oneday..ITS PERFECT for Clones. But not too great with big trees,Especially the lil nute tabs they send,,But if already know how to grow, dont restrict yourself to a 1gal. res!!Man thats insane! Much LuV! PuRp

I've made my decision, going to start one seed at a time in the AG, once it develops a nice long healthy root system transplant it to my GH WaterFarm used in my other grow, and finish veg/flower in the WaterFarm, sort of a mini perpetual. Which also means I might have to wait a little bit to start, given I already have a plant growing the WaterFarm (check link in sig)

Anyone have thoughts on this plan? (by the way, I'm a small scale personal use grower, so I don't ever have any intentions in expanding in equipment other than what is currently accumulated to this point, not to say I don't appreciate advice. wouldn't be where I am right now without this forum or other readers/writers/growers like you and myself)

or the ebb flow...

just pick one and stick with it until you are good at it...

I suggested the SH style tote thing because it basically a giant AG..

No different in set up and maintenance...

But ebb flow is also a good option... that is what I use...

I almost feel like I should have kept my mouth shut.... but I know that it won't take much to make 10x happier than if you had stuck to the AG...

Shack.. I love my AG, it taught me sooo much....

I actually have 3 plants in mine right now....

but I guarantee you will be happier in proportion to the res size you choose...

If you go with 10 gallon res, you will be 10x happier with the results (compared to the AG)

Transpolanting is very good for throwing your plant into shock,So you wanna do that the least amount of times.I am by far an AG h8tr.i like the lil system.it taught me how to grow, When the stem rot comes on 3ml peroxide/gal. to fix that,Hope it dont happen to you,,just watch for it. Good luck and i will be watching how it grows! PuRp

Here is a link to Roseman's thread...

Purp is wise... I would follow his lead...

And I would try not to transplant eleventeen times...

Germ your seed and put it in the system you want it to finish in... until the end....

Unnecessary transplanting is NOT your friend...

I don't plan on transplanting eleventeen times, haha. Just start the seedling out in the AG by itself, just to get a nice long taproot developed and then straight into the waterfarm, to veg and flower.

I hear you, and I'm comfortable with the waterfarm. that and i built the ebb&flow for some veggies i'm doing in my backyard. like i said its personal, so i'm not really concerned on several plants at a time per harvest.
(after uprooting 5 plants in the waterfarm, and returning one, i feel i'm comfortable transplanting and nursing a plant during shock)

Thanks for keeping tabs on me purp! I learned all about shock with my current grow (see above comment) But given that i'm just taking it from the AG to the Hydroton of the WaterFarm, i think it should be minimal, and i dont plant to transplant at a critical time during flower, just around the 2nd or 3rd node. Not sure, i plan to watch the root development this grow, more so than the leaf development (during the AG phase) After its in the WaterFarm, nurse and caretake to bring out a MUCH higher yield than a single plant in an AG ever could.

Keep checking back, I'm hoping to get this started in about a week, just waiting for my other grow to bloom! (Shouldn't be long now)

Haha yeah I had like 10 too many a few days ago. Was straight OUT OF COMMISION the next day. To give you an idea, this was me...

:spew:

Aw shit, anyway...

I dig your set-up man. I've been meaning to check out your grow for like a week now. I'm looking forward to following it. Your airstone arrangement has me looking at mine with scorn! :peace:
