Adding a 600w to 1000w grow

I'm debating adding my old 600w hood/lamp, to my existing 1k. It may be a little while before I can get my QBs, which I'll be mounting each to the outside hooks. This is my first tentless grow, and I really like the access, but the big disadvantage to that is not having mylar walls for the light to reflect off of. So, until I am able to get my LED fixtures, I'm thinking of moving the 1k to a set of the outside ceiling hooks, meant for one of the LEDs, and hanging the 600w to the other outside set of hooks. That should increase the footprint, and make up for some lost light. I'm not worried about temps. I struggle to keep the room warm for the majority of the day. My 6" fan has a lot of headroom left, to handle the additional hood. The 600w ballast would be on another circuit.

Opinions?

Hood, currently hung from the center hooks, which I put in to temporarily hang my hps, while waiting for the LEDs.

I personally would do it, why not if you have it and you can run it i would... no reason not to run it unless you cant cool that space properly
