well yes, you just want a gentle breeze blowing across your girls, it streghtens the stems. you dont need a hurricane blowing around in there, LoL.

yea, and you dont want the wind blowing constantly at the plants. a circulating fan is best, a constant breeze will pull the water from your leaves and cause stress and burns.

hey jumbo, do you think that could be my problem? the 2 intake fans dont blow that hard though, just a gentle breeze blowing through the plants. ph is 6.5 to 6.8, i water every couple days and im using just a mild nute mix jacks big bloom and GH florabloom. its about 6 weeks of flowering, thanks man for any help.

it could be, the leaves closest or most in the direct breeze to the fans would dry/burn first and the most dramaticly. is that happening?

thats what im talking about bro, hell yeah, you can go 1 to 2 inches above them and be fine. yellow is usually from nute burn not light burn, light burn, they would just shrivel up, LoL. when there small like that, just dont let them dry out to bad, keep the soil just moist till they start to get a little bigger. in a week or so when they get a few nodes and main leaves, you will be able to work out your water schedule, about every other to 3 days or so as the soil dries out.

well if its over the entire plant i would look more into nutrients, do you flush throughout your grows? iv had plants look verrry similar when salts buildup in the soil. also what nutes do you use? still MG soil? at first glance it looks like nute burn, but i have similar problems 3-6 weeks into flowering that is usually cleared up by adding CAL,MAG, and a lil N so it might be a trace element defficiency?

When you look at them do you see anything wrong?
hey man, things are looking good!! they'll take off now.

ok, a lot going on here, just finished transplanting them, im using scotts hyponics potting soil but will be switching to jungle growth for the next grow. someone had said something about rootbound in those 5" pots, well, they the pots were pretty full, so i transplanted them just now. the N shortage is a good bet, so i will put some worn casing in the soil when the lights come back on in the morning.

im using the GH florabloom and the jacks classic big bloom. i water with the nutes and the next time with just straight rain water, then nute water again, about every 3rd day. i was using the schultz, but stopped a while ago when this first started, it does have mag, but no cal. i just gave a small to the 1/2 gallon of nute mix im watering with now.

god damn guys this has to be the best group on RIU my first grow didnt even consist of lights, I put a seed in a pot of soil i stole from under my grass and plopped it in my window sill LOL i then upgraded to a hollowed out dresser glued the doors to a pice of ply wood and put it all on a hinges. i still like to consider my self ghetto but i've finally gotten to the stage of air scrubbers :( i like to think of my new setup as ghetto but ill let you guys be the judges.
didn't cost me a penny outside of buying the air filtration system but i only gave up and sunk 600$ into one because i refuse to quit growing and neighbors were getting suspicious. this is my new set up 2 Armoirs from ikea (house warming gift)
all the lights were given to me from my great old hippie friend i had the quarter round already made a light barrier on the door out of tape and used some rubber crap to keep it pushed outwards i tried real hard to give it a nicer appearance seeing as i now have another half and she isn't into the rugged manly ordeal.
