Puffenuf, I just read your post above and you nailed it! I suggest everyone who uses coco to read all canna talk articles. It will explain and help so much. Plus you 'get it from the horses mouth'.

Hello everyone. Just thought i would check in with my coco friends. I have moved to new area and my new pad has à very ideal indoor gardening space. Just got my gear set up and im ready to knock out some elbows of jack herer. Only this time i dont be using any Canna products.. they dont sell Canna in this area, and im à little bummed about using a new brand of medium, but honestly i stopped using their nutrients a while back for various reasons. I will let u all know how it goes. Peace.

Hey wuts up... I got this coco coir made by Botanicare. It looks like Cannas Coco and had a good pH when i tested it, so im happy with it so far. But as far as Nutrients go.. i was getting à ton of free products a while ago, and was able to try à bunch of types of nutes.. i currently use Cutting Edge Solutions 3-Part (Micro, Grow, Bloom)... And i also use a few different companies for some additives and beneficials, ect, that ive become à fan of over thé years. CES as à company has always been good to me, and they work very well. Canna definitely works well but they are not cheap... Shipping their nutes to usa cost à ton and that cost is passed on to us.. they are nice quality nutrients though.

It seems strange that your tap waters ppm is zero, but of true then i would get the cal-mag and add 200 ppm before landing your either nutrients. I personally dont care for advance nutrients. Some people have reported big results from cannaboost but Canna even told me that If the plants environment is ideal then it wont be extremely helpful to the grow. It is just made of some complex sugars carbs, with possibly some "secret hormones". I would save yer cash unless u have it to spend. If u do get it then try using it as à foliar spray... It will last longer and potential hormones will be absorbed more easily.. but the sugars could also be beneficial to your cocos microlife when used as à root drench. There are much cheaper ways to get complex and simple sugars though Fyi... Dont use bigbud like cannaboost.. bigbud is à fertilizer and cannaboost is not. Hope that helps u.

thanks for the reply guys......am gonna take the big bud back what should i use or what can i use in place of the boost...the only reason i wanted to use the boost is alot of people say canna nutes are quite bland when it comes to the end product so i wanted to maxamize the flavours......and what is this cal pow i bought is it any good or should i just get some sensi cal mg...the cal pow looks like it has N in it so am thinking its no good for when am flowering

Instead of the Boost, I used H&G's BudXL and Botanicare's Sweet (I chose Berry flavor)

Your water has to have something in it. Is your tap water distilled or something?..lol I have the same Blue Lab stick and it's great. My tap water has an EC of 0.3 which is pretty clean. I had to use CalMg+ because it was low in those minerals.

I would get Canna PK 13-14 for when you start flowering.. then u can switch to something stronger (like your bigbud or madfarmer or shooting powder, ect.) three weeks before harvest if u wanted to... Just remember to cut back the Canna A-Baround 1/3 when using à strong Bloom fertilizer. As for flavor additives, i would use Cutting Edge Solutions Sugaree during last couple weeks.. or u can just flush the plants well with plain water or sugar water of some sort. I dont know whats in calpow, but most all cal-mag products have N in it. -Usually they will be aprox. 2% N, 2% Mag, and 3% Calcium..

Those people must have had bad end product, not due to canna but the grower. I promise you that. That's one of the greatest benefits of coco is the taste. Compared to soil and Hydro the coco had the best taste and finish structure. …when done right.
