Current canna nutes used:

Canna A + B (i let sit for HOURS to achieve a stable PH, i found this to be very important)
Cannazyme (75% strength, every 2 or 3 waterings)
Canna Boost (Going to replace with BudXL next. Same thing but 50% cheaper)
PK 13/14 (just for a week, midflower)

Additional nutes:

HG Roots Excelurator (cheaper and undoubtedly more effective than rhizotonic)
HG Drip Clean (to prevent salt buildup from occuring in root area)
Calmag
Molasses
Mad Farmer M.O.A.B (flowering starter/finisher to increase size and density)

Next run I think I'll be trying some Fungi tablets too
Instead of the fungi tablets use Great white...H&G actually suggests using it on their schedule....Save $ by just top feeding once a week with it....Works great...Peace

Nice. I've heard the name around, but never really known what kind of nutrient it was. I'll definitely look into it now, thx.

Alright guys, how long does a nutetrient ok to leave for? It's for my seedlings. I don't wanna make up 4L of mix to have to pour most of it away after 5 days.

I think I'm going to have to give the Fungi Perfecti stuff a shot. I didn't notice before, but it comes in a bunch of a different forms. The powdered form is $6 for 1 ounce, and 1 ounce treats 150-250 plants they say. Sounds like a great deal. The amount of beneficials in it is amazing too:

Contains concentrated spore mass of the following

Endomycorrhizal fungi- Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae, Glomus aggregatum, Glomus clarum, Glomus deserticola, Glomus etunicatum, Gigaspora margarita, Gigaspora brasilianum, Gigaspora monosporum

Ectomycorrhizal fungi- Rhizopogon villosullus, Rhizopogon luteolus, Rhizopogon amylopogon, Rhizopogon fulvigleba, Pisolithus tinctorius, Laccaria bicolor, Laccaria laccata, Scleroderma cepa, Scleroderma citrinum, Suillus granulatas, Suillus punctatapies

Trichoderma- Trichoderma harzianum, Trichoderma konigii

Beneficial Bacteria- Bacillus subtillus, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus azotoformans, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus pumlis, Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus stearothermiphilis, Paenibacillus polymyxa, Paenibacillus durum, Paenibacillus florescence, Paenibacillus gordonae, Azotobacter polymyxa, Azotobacter chroococcum, Sacchromyces cervisiae, Streptomyces griseues, Streptomyces lydicus, Pseudomonas aureofaceans, Deinococcus erythromyxa

It's not something I'm going to get in the next few days, but in the next few weeks for sure. I'll definitely report back with results. I'll make a new thread on it.

Thanks for this thread man! Lots of jewels to be found, just got through reading the full 34 pages, lots of props for the work.

I have used Canna's coco nutes for a bit but was never aware they were designed for water that has such a low starting EC... My EC is circa 0.6 out of the tap with a pH of about 7.4. This will rise after airing for 24 hours to EC 0.7 and pH 7.7-7.8.

I think I need to get an RO filter :D Saying that I haven't had the worst results using them.

Has anybody that uses molasses run it through drippers? I am using drippers and don't want to risk blocking them
Yeah, I love canna products but dont find the boost in my budget. I run coco with drip to waste system. I rock out with A and B n canazym first week, week two add humboldt county ginormous in 1/3 rec. dose, make way up to no more than 8 ml. but also use unsulphured molasses. I dilute it in 1000 ml RO h20 at 1 ml unsulphured molasses per gallon, so a 40 gallon mix= 40 ml molasses. Run the molasses til the end through flush. dilute it well n you wont have any clog problems. they also sell a filter to attach to ur tubing right after it leaves the res for like $20. also shit called hi-brix which is hydroponic friendly molasses. pk at 3-4, stop ginormous during pk, start backby week 6 n lower EC for final weeks. ALso like using The Heavies- week 678. Careful can burn but shits incredible if used right(doesnt raise EC more than .2)
Def get RO filter, that .7 can do alot for your crops. i ph @ 5.8 with water temp at 68
Happy growing my friend.

Great White is the shit brothers! Works great and you do see the difference. It's worth the money and is definately beneficial to the extent that most people look for the results through better ferts etc.

What up people? I'm on day 11 of flower. Pistils are showing. Everything is looking good! They are loving the co2! Need to start the PK soon. I am gonna use the Hammerhead PK 4/10 instead of cannas PK13/14. Gonna be lazy and ask when is the optimal time to start using the PK. They have both been topped using uncle bens topping technique. Here are a few pics of the girls on day 10 of flower.

so i switched from soil to coco today and im having trouble with it.
not so much trouble but im left confused.

i never know how much water to give my newly rooted clones and seedlings.
there in the pots they will finish in now. i have the canna A and B nutes. ive been reading the cart that came with them and it say through veg to give 2 mill of A and 2 mill of B per liter- i have been doing this for 2 days (watering half a liter a day each) and some of my cones are still yellowing.

anyone know a better amoun tthat should be mixed per liter?
i know i should learn from experiance but i NEED these clones to live. probabaly shouldnt have switched product then i know but if you dont try it you never know right.

ok first in what size pots are they in,? how old are they?which nutes have you got? if they only seedlings you are over feeding them with 2ml of a and b,go eazy by starting em at 0.5ml a and b to 1L of water, dont worry about watering them to much just dont let any of the coco dry keep it always moist, that means watering them nearly every day, remember this is coco nothing like soil, always get a 25%+ run of when you water, as soon as you can tell me what i asks i can give you more info, and try uploading some pics of them

cheers ill get some pics up tomorrow, i have 10 exodus cheese clones which have just started new growth. and only a couple of 4 day old seedlings.
there all in 13liter pots (pretty sure but ill check tomorrow) they were in the 4 inch rockwool cubes before that and i just burried the cubes in the coco.
its canna coco and canna nutes.
im thinking thinking that the yellowing was because i took the clones 3 weeks into flower, so they yellowed a lot and the new growth is odd looking lol.

firs time using it. i upped the water to 800mil per pot, no run off but its damp at the base so it runs through ok i guess. the rockwool dry out at the end of the day. i guess its the coco sucking the water from it.

:)

next time round, start your seeds straight in coco no need for rockwool, and starting in smaller pots will help!, give the seedlings more of rhizotonic, if your watering 800ml and the water goes all the way to the bottem then you might aswel water more and get the run off, its very importand in coco to get a run of or els you cud face alot of problems, always use nutes when watering, never water with plain water!

that is really not a good adea to take clones ones in flower it will stress the plant and may cause it to hermie on you, the clones you tuk i cant say anything coz i dont really do clones but by judging on what your saying things dont look really good,

dont worry its not as hard as it seems, ones you get hang of it its just a pice of cacke, and dont worry were here to help ;)

cheers, yeah i was on a tight timeline and th eonly wa for me to get the exodus clones was to cut in flower.
there growing though, and the seedling are a lot slower compaired to when i had them in small pots first. rockwool was a pain for seedlings so i wont be using that again.
and ill add more water from now on see how it goes.

they all seem to be perking up a bit but just slow growth due to the large pots, but once the roots get established im sure they will pick up speed.
i thought i would 6 weeks veg in but im sure because of all this they will look like 4 weeks.

cheers for the help :) im sure ill have to go through all this when i get a new hydro set up.
just been trying all the mediums out, coco seems lot easier to deal with than soil though, hopefully next run its a lot smoother.

sorry about the quality.
this is my chronic re-veg, took about 2 weeks after harvest for this new growth to start, theres one new growth from each bud i left. not sure when i can clone, ill leave it for 2 more weeks and then get a few clones. i also have a sativa blue cheese re-vegging but thats slow.

and here are a couple of my exodus cheese clones, these are the healthiest. they were 3 weeks into flower when i took them so thats why they have retarded growth, hopefully they perk up in a week or so. not sure what to expect when re-veging.

If boost isn't in ur budget try H&G's Bud XL instead....Same product but way cheaper....You only use 3.8 ml a gal instead of 15ml.....A qt. is also about half the price....I think you will really like what these products do....They use an enzymatic process to help the plant transfer sugars from the stalk and leaves into the bud for a much stickier and tastier harvest ....These products really help when used in conjunction with molasses or a sweetener....Peace
