But, my question is, are these calculations 100% for MJ?

And since I'm using Bud XL instead of Boost, is it treated as the same or should I be using a different amount of Bud? And lastly, (more for AZCannaman), when and how much of the sweetener do I use with this table/growguide?

Hmmm not sure. Just follow the chart exactly. If your EC/ppm comes out higher than the chart says it should be add some water and next time use a little less base.

On the Bud XL use 1ml/L exactly. Sweetner is your call, 10 to 20ml per gallon. Amount as I said is your call. You'll probably see more flavor at the higher dosage but it'll cost more $ to run. (cuz you'll use more)

Last thing once you get to that point in bloom measure your EC/ppm before adding the BudXL/Sweetner combo. Once it's good go ahead and add them.

For the BudXL usage, do I use it on the exact same schedule as Boost? But just the 1ml/L throughout.

I start Bud XL when the pistils are starting to wrap around and form buds. Run it all the way through til flush at 4ml/gallon..though something tells me it can be bumped up probably with great results.

What he said. Add 15ml a gallon of the sweetner beginning when you start the BudXL and you'll be fine.

If you notice your tips start burning it's because your PPM are too high and you dont know it, so either add water to the mix, or use less base. (lack of EC meter)

Finally got everything I need...scrapped the perlite as I found the hydroton (to put at the bottom of the air pots). Just have to go pickup my seeds (and changed my mind again....I am doing 3 Blueberry (80% Indica 20% Sativa) and 2 Freddy's Best (95% Sativa 5% Indica) from Dutch Passion) early this week (I buy them in-store) and then I'll start my journal. Should be up later in the week

I think I'm going to go the old school way and germinate the seeds using the shot glass method. I'd rather just be sure I'm planting a germinated seed, instead of hoping it will germ. So my question is should I put 1ml of Rhizo into the shot glass with the water to aid the germ?

Quick qusetion if i may. i have been using Canna for 3 yrs now and still trying to get the best out of them, atm i have my plants in coco in 8L root pouches (like the dirt bag). plants are at 35 days 12/12 and dry out every other day, how often should i be feeding my plants?? any help would be great. i dont want to overfeed but feel on my last runs that i may have underfed, last runs i used a water,water,feed schedule. thanks

Not sure, if you do it let us know how it works out for you germing them that way. I do <3 the RHizo.,,..

Water them every time they dry out. DO NOT EVER water them with only water, always use at least a mild nutrient mix. I feed the nutes according to the schedule every full strength through the entire grow with no problems. Water only fucks up the micro life in the coco.

I've read here and on the Canna boards that it aids and speeds up the germ process. But my 1ml is way too much for a shot glass. Says I should only use a drop of Rhizo in such a small amount of water.

ok so im defo not gonna get the best out of them doing it how i was taught then, i was told to feed every 3rd water and dont feed to often to prevent nute build up, so you say feed everytime i water, and a full dose everytime? i wont be overfeeding doing this?

No mate you wont overfeed, cocos kinda hydro so you want the food available all the time every water, you was taught how to feed in soil.

lol seems wierd that they would teach me that way when they have always grown in coco lol, they do it that way and always seem to get better results than me, hopefully with me changing my regime i can get the quality that they do, or even surpass it!

I already know I have to rinse the hydroton clean before putting it into the bottom of my air pots. But can I just put the coco over top of the hydroton straight out of the bag? It didn't saying anything about prepping the coco on the bag or I couldn't find anything on the Canna site.

its good to go out the bag mate, no prep needed although a dose of cannazym in your first feed will break down materials and turn them into sugars and such that you plants will love

No you wont overfeed, to prevent buildup you feed with enough nute mix that you get about 10% run off, that 10% contains all the salts which have been building up in the Coco from nutrients everytime.

This is why you throw away the waste, you should not recirculate it in Coco. Hence Drip Drain to Waste is the best way to run Coco. You could spread some of that Rep+ my way lol.

Yup thats the Coco guide, just follow it and you should be good to go. If you get any tips burning back off the base slightly.
