i read the first three pages, but didn't wanna keep going so i thought i'd ask. to the op, after you're done with all the sculpting, how much time will have passed before they get put into flower?
For me the sculpting goes on for weeks under T5 and LED. Once I have the shape I want, I like to veg under HID for a week or two to get things really moving to push hard into flower. Its a difficult question to answer because so much depends on genetics as well as lighting and wattage. It takes significant time to sculpt and mature though, and you can't really rush it.

I should also add that I'm doing my first two mainlines lol. But that's how I'm doing it.... This time!

Question,

When should I begin removing sun/fan/sugar leaves?
i believe I have enough other medium leaves for needed photosynthesis, what does someone in the know think?
I would like some help here.

I also like to leave them for as long as I can while pruning suckers to promote growth to tops.

Day 29 of 12/12

Not a lot to report, plants recovered from the over feeding, burn/leaf claw.
Have been watering/feeding every other day, Q2 is drinking more than her daughter.

The smell when I open the cabinet is amazing, sweet, almost too sweet. It lingers in the garage for quite a while after I close the cabinet back up.

Here are a few pictures!

Hey y'all...I've read almost this whole thread, believe it or not. Crazy. At any rate, this is my first grow, and I'm working with two Critical Kush that were just mainlined to 8 about 5 days ago. Not sure if they're experiencing normal growth, or if they're creeping along slowly. At any rate, here they are. I didn't do much LST at all, because I snapped one of the branches during the initial topping (which has since healed) and I chickened out haha. I figure I might just need to space them out a bit when I put the tomato cages in, eh? I have enough headroom, so that's not a problem.

Mine are very similar in height, and are also topped for 8. I am also experiencing slow growth. My plants are 51 days old, and I plan on flipping on the 7th

Yeah, mine are 46 days since they popped and I plan on flipping them around the same time...as long as they keep growing, hah. Since it's my first grow, I don't really know what I'm doing, but....just hoping for the best :)

Thanks man...I'm sure they'll be fine. I just have no previous grows to compare this growth rate, too....and then you see pictures of someone's one week old from seed and it looks like a huge bush...haha. Anyway, I've done all the work it seems, so now I've just got to watch 'em grow. Patience....

long time lurker here... made and account just to say how awesome this method looks :weed:....got a question or 2...im gonna be growing indo with a minimum space of 24x18x36in and would like to try this method if i could fit the the plant in there...college grow so i will be using CFLs...was thinking a 2 or 3 gallon smart pot to keep them at a minimum height....if i mainline with some supercropping and tie them bitches down would i be able to fit just one plant in there? Or would space of 18x18x48in be better? any advice is like gold to me!!

Have you seen pics of Nugbucket's cabinet grow? He crams quite a few in, and they don't seem to grow past 30 inches with LST and supercropping.

I have...but he is also a master at doing this haha...i could most likely fit 2 in the amount of space that I have with LST and supercropping. Im only concerned about the height as a pot will be 9-12 inches leaving me with around 20 inches from soil to light bulb...

Mlag2,

You can keep them small, I suggest you look at Fuckjeffgoldbloom's journal. He is using 2 gallon Hempy buckets, I am going to do 3.5 gallon buckets on my next grow.

Good luck on your grow!

Peace out,

Bud, again I refer to FJG's 2 gallon hempy buckets. He has some great looking plants. Check out others that have grown and are still growing that way.
It is just one other method for growing, always looking for the easier way.
