@cloudiology: I have some kind of cheese auto I will have to check I know its a freebie on the tude and the cheese strain is pretty legendary even in the states.

I tried a grow with a $600 LED a friend gave me and the plants took so long I said screw it and put in the hps at 400w and it took off, that was my great white shark run.

We didnt get planing, were living on the parents land nd are just tapped into their sewerage. Worst thing about living in one is the extremes the temps go up and down to.Couldnt tell you what my humidity is, how essential is having the correct humidity.? What problems are caused by having it up or down.?
Mold would be the most obvious problem with high humidity and apparently the plants don't breathe as well which leads to lower yields and less resin production.

Was thinking last year of moving into a mobile but then balked when I realised how hard it would be to connect up proper sewerage and planning permission also.

I have a small dehumidifier running in the tent along with the 2 euro shop dehumidifiers and rock salt in containers and the humidity is up to about 80%.
Great idea with the glass, like with all the best ideas it is simple.
80%humidity mr fred whats the crack there?mines between 35/45 the whole time...

I can't remember but who got the grape god? and did you run any?
was me jenks,i still have them, dont think ill plant them till nex year haven the patience for regs now but dont worry they will be planted....

Just looked now and it's at 69% RH , 28C on the electronic hygro and about 75% RH , 25C on the mechanical so it's hard to know which if any is accurate, it doesn't feel too warm in there though.

I emptied the dehumidifier yesterday evening, the tanks holds 400ml and already today it about one third full again.
I'll try the mechanical one on the window to see, both of mine are new but were on the cheap from ebay.

Just thought I'd chime in with my temps... hitting 34 at the top of the canopy, 27 at the bottom. It was 25 in the tent without the lights on! Never seen that before here. I've had to move the light as far to the top of the tent as I can get it. One of my AppleJacks looking a little sad because of it. Definitely need to upgrade my extraction to handle the worst of summer. I was rocking a beautiful intake and extraction system last year, made the mistake of lending it to a friend who ended up getting busted. Damn I miss that climate control...

That sucks that your friend got busted and you both lost your gear.
I've often wondered what they do with confiscated growing equipment, most probably destroy it I'd imagine.
My temps are nearing 30 with a cfl going and a computer fan extracting, also have a 9 inch blowing in there.
I could do with breaking out the small big guns(250w HPS) for a couple of weeks before upping to the 400 or 600 but I'd be dead with the heat being vented into the room.

I've often wondered that myself fr3d, I'm pretty sure that stuff does not make it to a regular police auction. I've seen fans and stuff but no growing equipment. They probably scrap it, wouldn't be surprised if a few scrap dealers got lights straight from the police!

See now fr3d you're making me think I'm overdoing it, I've got my 600 going, with a 16" fan blowing on the bulb. Tower fan in one corner, one on the ground pushing up and another moving air under the canopy. That's not including the extraction. With the 16" fan on the temps sort of even out all over the tent and its not moving the plants about too much. Fuck me sideways I just realised I have a lot of fans for a 1.2m tent.

You gotta do what you gotta do to keep your temps in check, a 600w will produce a lot of heat so I don't think you are overdoing it.
I have my tent in my bedroom and nowhere to vent to except the room so setting up my hps is not ideal at the moment, I'm in the room now and the sweat is pouring out of me with all windows open.

You're probably right about the scrap all the aluminium, copper and steel etc, it would all add up.

from what i hear they toss it in a bath of water, or smack the shit out if it and leave it there... now your avaerage grow house i think they bag them up as evidence as to commercial growing.. from what i gather now thats not gospel..

pretty hot here as the rest of you and haven`t a clue what temps it got up to in there today.. all the leavs are pointing up and there really throwing on the flowers now so i`m pretty happy no matter how high it got ....

still haven`t fed them yet either, as i`ve re-potted so many times i`ve not had to yet..

so hows goes it in here tonight, how are you guys spending your days... i got a bit of work on thank god, uncle seen me doing my car yesterday and left me over two of his (hes a trader) few small repairs but easy cash ... and thats thin on the ground these days....
