pity that van of yours is not up and going now we have the weather for it, you got anymore done with it?
Not a lot really, waiting on quotes from different motor factors on cam belt and pump.
The tyres on it were either bald or perished so yesterday ran around for seconds and couldn't get them so today went to town and ordered four new ones for Thursday.
I could have got different tyres but couldn't get 4 stud rims with the 114.3 fitment.
Anyway there's a few spots of surface rust which isn't too bad for a 23 year old but unless the whole thing is sprayed it wont look proper so was wondering if I prepped it myself with the sprayer having nothing to do except spray it how much would it cost?
Going to have to do it all in stages anyway due to funds but hopefully have it done by Christmas.

80%humidity mr fred whats the crack there?mines between 35/45 the whole time...

was me jenks,i still have them, dont think ill plant them till nex year haven the patience for regs now but dont worry they will be planted....
I know the breeder that made those beans and he is friends with one of next generations breeders, he did a huge pollen chunk, meaning he planted a bunch indica and sativa strains from next generation and kept the pollen and the strongest female he kept and then hit her with the pollen and got about 300 beans from her.

he gave me 2oz of the bud which had seeds in it but it was still very good and I got about 30 beans from 2oz.

or at least he says he knows one of them he is more of a friend of a friend none the less they are good and the buds I had were a nice dark purple almost black.

I hear you on the regs, my last experience I got all males and was so pissed because they were so f'n healthy looking.

You gotta do what you gotta do to keep your temps in check, a 600w will produce a lot of heat so I don't think you are overdoing it.
I have my tent in my bedroom and nowhere to vent to except the room so setting up my hps is not ideal at the moment, I'm in the room now and the sweat is pouring out of me with all windows open.

You're probably right about the scrap all the aluminium, copper and steel etc, it would all add up.
do they sale portable ac's in ireland? I have one were my cab is just incase there is a spike in weather which almost never happens here

this is the exact one I have and it works great: http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-LP1111WXR-Portable-Conditioner/dp/B0055DTBOI/ref=sr_1_17?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1373420400&sr=1-17&keywords=portable+lg+air+conditioner

Typical irish weather....lol
Haha! Yes typical Irish weather. Sometimes cracks me up to see how quickly it changes, and how often they get the forecast wrong. Even live weather updates! On the other hand, when they predict sunny and cloudy weather the are usually spot on. Only thing is, the sun in shining above the clouds! :-)

@cloudiology: I have some kind of cheese auto I will have to check I know its a freebie on the tude and the cheese strain is pretty legendary even in the states.

I tried a grow with a $600 LED a friend gave me and the plants took so long I said screw it and put in the hps at 400w and it took off, that was my great white shark run.

just checked and I have 1 auto cheese candy
Had a dabble with LED's myself, and were disappointed. OK for early vegging and ripening, but that is about it! I always thought that LED's would become viable once companies like Philips and Osram start making them for growing. Why wouldn't they if it was such a good concept? For interest sake, Philips is working on a prototype LED growlight, so I guess in a few years they will be the norm. As for the Cheese... Yum yum! Nothing like the stench of a good cheese...

Hello there! This heatwave will not last that long knowing Ireland. You can always get an AC on Ebay or something like that? I think that is the least dodgy growing accessory to buy on Ebay... You can also try an evaporative cooler, although they tend to be far less effective than proper AC's. Also cheaper though!

The heat is some killer aint it.? I live in a mobile home and at the hottest part of the day it would be around 30'c. I grow in a small press (16"x21"x6ft) with 250w hps, i used to have terrible problems with heat, even on a normal day. I did alot of research and came across a great solution. Unfortunitly no link. I'll give you a quick run through. I have 1 12cm pc fan for extacion, and 2 12cm pc fans blowing on the plant. I dont have an intake fan because it accually made it to cold. With the door closed i can get the hps 8inches away from the top of the plant. Could probably go closer but dobt wanna risk it. Now before i couldnt get the hps close than 18inch. To accomplish this all i have done is get a very thin peice of glass, i used a cheap picture frame. I cut it a few inches shorter than then length of the press, this allows the air below the glass to vent upwards and out. Clean the glass well, and dont touch it with bear fingers, even accidentlly, it will leave grease on the glass and when it heats up it shatters. Now i havent put a thermometer under the glass, but i can put my hand directlly under the glass and it completly cool. I dont know what set ups yer using but it mite be usefull to someone. Sorry if there spelling mistakes and that, im writing this on my phone.
Cool if the glass panel installation works for you. A little bit of light is lost through glass (as with water-cooled light fixtures), but I guess the convenience with temperature control outweighs it?

fucking plane is back this morning, and doing laps of the place again...

no matter, i`ve my door open a hair to let in cool air, its too hot in there to close it, and after the last time i`m not moveing them again, there settled nicely, stretch has slowed down on them thank god, og are about 3 ft tall and the hh are slowly catching up at 2 foot, just about the size i like, well whats manageable for now...

still no feed, there lush green and no def`s or anything, one has a sligh burn on it but thas as it got some waste water from a sink splashed on it when it was at the mates house, it was outside and the waste pipe was knocked off b him throwing down the pot beside it, she`ll bounc bak tho, and i`ve actually put te lemon hazes into paper towel today, time is right for it now with the rest all in flower now...

Oh yeas having control over temp is a big win over losing a little light

I missed the green poison, sounds nice as well.
Advanced seeds are usually good but I haven't heard of early lady.
I stuck mine in some shamrock and perlite, I figure with the heat and humidity I can bypass the paper towels.
What is orange alert?

you gonna do a grow journal? i wanna know how the red poison go's
I'm gonna put em out as soon as they break ground, I won't do a journal but will keep you informed.
Apparently 80% of the RP's turn red so fingers crossed mine do, I wanna see what a red bud looks like.
