General update, ordered my new chips to build a single cob and upgrade the roleadro

http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=222462989764&category=181880&pm=1&ds=0&t=1552068342212&cspheader=1

I picked up a cheap jap scrap drive for the single cob and salvaged a heatsink. I figure practice buildin one before I try the upgrade!

Got 2 bluberry og clones vegging out, along with 2 tangerines about 5 days old and another 2 bbog waitin to sprout. One of each to follow the clones and one of each for mothers, hopefully!

Then in the flowering tent everything is starting to pick up. Everything got rootbound and stalled, took about a week to suss and a week to bounce back after the transplants. But we're on the right track! Gg2 and the bbog are a lil behind gg1, but I dont mind.

And gg1 is throwing out pistils like crazy!

Reckonin it'll prob be comin down early May.

Oh and everythings on dry amendments! Plagrons supermix, bat guano and some blood fish n bone meal for good measure. Just getting plain water and the odd time some alga mic and mollasses. Got some alga bloom left and fish mix, in case I need backup.

About the rootbound situation, im thinking of vegging in 5 litre pots and transplanting to 10ltrs a week or 2 before flippin em to flower instead of going straight into 10 ltr pots.
I read that this is better for root development. It also allows me to make a different soil mix for vegging and flowering, rather than just top dressing before the switch.
Anybody gone down this particular rabbit hole before?

Oh and monstercropping is taking clones from a flowering plant and reverting them to veg, vegging em out and flowering em again. It takes a while to root/revert but the growth during reveg is insane!! Its more like tendrals than branches and with some training it has great potential! If ya flick back through the thread y'all find my 2

I used to re-pot twice.
Now i go from 9cm pot straight to the last pot.
Works better for me and us easier to fill big pot to the top and make a little hole in the middle push back soil and done for 12 or so weeks.
Hungrier plants add some extra bat manure on the bottom layer.

Its cause Im restricting my space, 10ltr is my finishing size but it seems the roots are filling em too quick. I figure staggering em will help.

Cheers, Ive hellmans ones too pmsl

love diy.. never had money to buy straight up so had to improvise, and thats a nice tidy setup, well tought out, as for master cropping well i never put a name to it, just take a bunch of clones, let them root for awhile and flower them, it worked with only a few clones the one time i tried, in fairness alot of clones didnt take and the few that did done well considering how novice i was, (first time i grew a plant i used a lamp stand and 80w cfl... thank god for the fluke that it was the right kelvin hahahaha) and under powered the lights were, cfls at the time, had the wattage but theres no comparison the hps....

then just straight flower the mother aswell, no re vegging, just recovery time from the trim...

was it harrekin that went from tap root to final pot alot of the time? swore by it...

Been spending most of the day staring at my girls lol

Done a bit of work in the room, transplanted 2 in the veg tent, moved some plants around in the flowering tents. Thought I would be chopping down 4 plants (3x Notorious OG, 1x Durga Mata II) this weekend but they're still mostly clear trichomes, so going to give them another week.
Miserable day here too, sun was out this morning but didn't last long. Defo a day for the couch!

Just prickin about, we'd sunshine, hail, snow and now its sunny again! Been hiding away the last hour and a half defoliating the flowing tent lol

Id agree about the edibles, theyre sneaky feckers! I made up some canna oil a few weeks ago. 400ml coconut oil, 50g of trim and popcorn bud decarbed, put it in a slowcooker on low for a couple hours and strain.

Im an all day smoker, but 1/4 teaspoon in a cuppa tea is enough for me. Nice body stone without getting monged. Tried a full teaspoon for the craic, couch lock beyond belief! Missus was talking to me and I couldnt make head nor tail of it... I think thats what they call over medicating!

cheers dude, as stated there just raw plants no training anything, happy with the results there 12/12 from seed aswell so the lack of veg is noticeable but needed the harvest in a hurry and tought it would cut weeks off... as stated before, nature had other ideas, and were now 3 weeks past chop day and counting, looks like another 2 weeks on them aswell...
