Yea gonna cut out the plagron alga bloom and just give the biobizz alg a mic. Mostly cloudy trichs but I reckon at least another 3 weeks for the 50/50 cloudy/amber I like.

Definitely a long time finishing! All her trichs are still clear and only starting to see pistils die back, but for that scent its worth it! Lol
She's a lil side bud off the base of each cola, prob shoulda gone when I lollipopped, gonna leave em on and reveg her after the chop. Should be interesting!

Since you are using alge bloom i def think it is not nute burn.
Feeding anything else with that?
Have a good dig around in your soil and make sure there are no dry spots.

Thats what I thought, turns out they use rock phosphate in the alga bloom and that can lead to build up.
Id been giving 5ml per L but when I checked the chart they recommended 4ml for 3 weeks, then 3ml for 3 weeks, then back to 4ml.
Just the alga bloom and algamic.
Heres a pic from about 2 days after I first noticed

She been on plain water for the last 2 weeks and is starting to show some autumnal colours. Trichs are all cloudy, just waiting for some amber and she'll be coming down!
Next up will be 2 galway girl courtesy of budsahoi! And a barneys blueberry OG...

Thinking of picking up some more auto seeds to run one at a time in the veg tent.
Been looking at dinafems auto amnesia xxl, anyone any experience with this seed bank or strain??

Yea dinafem are pretty good. grew a few of them XL strains, nothing like the fems for weight.
I am not a fan of autos tho
Dya mean theres nothing like dinafems for weight? Yea I grew a few starting off, theyre aren't very forgiving to newbs imo. Im gonna have extra space in the veg tent tho so I figure why not add to the variety.

On the topic of the Galway Girls, what kinda flowering time am I looking at?

Anyone tips for thrips? (Pun intended)

Fuckers are all over the room. I was suppose to flip 2 weeks ago but I don’t want to take a chance while there still there. Been trying different bug sprays while avoiding Bayer. Nothing working so far.

New method of attack

I feel your pain, I have been battling them for a while now, sticky strips are the best thing for the adults, I have them hanging from the tent and placed around the pots too. Using Tanlin drops to drench the soil to kill the larve/eggs, but really hard to say whats working. The strips are good because you can physically see how many you are catching, other than that just keep trying the treatment till it works. Ive stopped any plans to keep going until this problem is solved, going to grow everything out and if its still a problem ill just take a small break to scrub everything and start again fresh. Its very disheartening and annoying seeing a plague of flys around your room, best of luck with the lady bugs! Let us know how that goes!

I’m going to try a few of those. I got the sticky traps, they keep falling on the plants. Messy job lol. Iv heard some good things about the lady bugs so I’m praying to god it works. I’m ready to pull the lot down if not. They’re seriously hard to spot.

Have you had them for long? I think I brought them into my room with a clone. I gave a few cuts to friend to hold onto and since getting them back iv noticed the thrips. Should of kept them in quarantine

Ive heard good things about neem oil used in a foliar spray, tho I dunno if itd harm your lady bugs?
Or neem meal in a top dressing, takes longer to show improvement but its a longer lasting solution
Yeah I tried neem oil that was suppose to be the no.1 stuff. Very hard to work with and smells rotten. I managed to spray them twice a week but the feckers keep on multiplying. Got other stuff online that works against thrips but that didn’t help. Only other stuff available is Bayer products. I’d rather thrips than cancer IMO.

Have you used neem oil before? I might have been applying it wrong
