The Irish Growers Thread!

Sourced iso and had at it yday. Initial run was with my two worst plants which netted 3.8oz post decarb (105c for 45).
Long story short that worked out as 13.8ml RSO with at least another ml yet to be removed from the rice cooker.

Friend of mine helped in the clean up and licked his finger twice unconsciously (he smokes) and reported being nicely enhanced half hr later lol. Potent stuff it seems!

Things i learnt....
Decarbing is dangerous, stinks like the Dam.
It takes ages. 7 hrs all in (decarb, weigh, wash1/2, filter, evap, harvest)
Iso is no joke, it wants to rock, care needed.
Waiting for the bubbling to stop in the final stages takes an eternity and plays with yer nerves.
Decent amount of hash to be had out of the filters.
Oil turns harder - to sticky waxy resin - amost immediately after being removed from heat.
Buddy reckons its rocketfuel.

As said these were my worst plants that i screwed up the most on. Somehow managed to land nicely in the middle of the expected 3 to 4 ml of oil per oz of plant so happy out.

Nice one man! That a fair bit of effort but it sounds like it paid off :) congrats

Looks brill 90's nice one! Doing the same on one plant and it's made for a lovely big flat and wide canopy with tons of bud sites like your own.

Its great to find an Irish growers thread on here. Ive been a member for quite a while but have only been in Ireland for a year, originally from California. It took a while to save up the cash but I have my tent all set up and just planted 2 Dinafem blue kush and 2 gorilla under a Lumii 96 watt T5. I have a 1.5m green qube tent but I'll only be using 1.2m, 600 watt ballast with parabolic, 8 inch Can max fan pro, 8 inch mountain air filter, and a Rhino fan speed controller.

Its great to see so many growers are in this country and look forward to toking on some quality buds in a few months.

So the tangie was looking kinda yellow in the new growth and I thought it was an iron lockout (this happened on my last grow because my AACT's ph was too high), but when I checked on her later the leaves were nice and green. This happen to anyone else?IMG_20181123_180611.jpg

So I trained her for the last time, 16 tops, nice thick trunk and even branches so im happy out. How many nodes high do people usually go before the flip to flower?

Nice training 90's, looks great, looking forward to seeing the results. Id put it into flower after 5 or 6 weeks.
I've been doing a lot of lurking and less posting but here's an update of my ladies, back middle plant, the suspected Sunset Sherbet is looking nearly ready, they've been going almost 7 weeks now. Other two big ones are suspected Notorious OG (guy mixed up seeds), the NOGs will go to near 10 weeks.
Other two little girls are cuts from the SSSherbet, they've been in flower 2 weeks now.

Also have some reveging clones doing their funky thing, took 18 cutings from the 3 above, 13 rooted, 6 are looking good. Here are 2 of them.

Yesterday I was looking at the frankentwins and thought they looked a bit too bushy, after a closer look i realised just how outta control it had gotten!

Loadsa pissy growth, spindly branches and crazy deformation. Im starting to understand the term "monster cropping", this shit dont look natural!

So like a teenage me realizing his pubic afro wasnt gonna just stop growing by itself I grabbed a sicissors and got to work!

Removed any and all spindly branches, and cleaned the remaining branches leaving 3-4 flower sites at the top of each.

Another 10 days or so to go with this Cookie Wreck but i couldn't resist taking a sneaky branch


I got myself a GSC dom keeper. It would have turned out a lot nicer if I didn't have the fuck up with the feed pump but sure I still have a mother. I'll get some better pics when the rest come down
