Okay fellows I'm sold ! That PF I rained on yesterday spurted 1 1/2 inches . And the other two was growing into the lights this morning had to re adjust lights ! lol wow . Also noticed the PF is vibrant green as opposed to a dark dull green now . She is one happy gurl and has rewarded me over night ! Thanks RM3 I salute you !

what about a pump hooked to lines held above by pvc with sprayers on it plugged into a timer? i mean yea its the cheap way, but it could be a starting point.

yea hidden420 got out of hand, it was like the guy was defending his mother in a murder case. fdd always gets notices of dumbasses, i should see if hidden is even still on riu anymore, lately alot of people have been getting kicked off for that exact type of posting. ive been trying to get more info on cmh bulbs, but all i can find about them is the same one page ad, and app its only made by phillips, but 40 bucks for a bulb that has that spectrum, im sold already.

yea thats what it says they run. they do have 250w as well. i have 2 400w but it did say that once you run the bulb, it has to stay in that position the rest of its life, i.e. vertical or horizontal. i have vertical reflectors and kinda hate them. theres a huge difference on light output downwards. my damn buds last grow were an inch from the bulb tip and never burned or anything.

There are vertical versions as well as horizontal: there are also some out for regular metal halide ballasts

Also you do not want to use them in sealed hoods or cool tubes as the glass will block the uvb produced which we truly desire for potency accentuation

Thanks for the links lumi . Yeah I like that HTGsupply ,they sell a 400 hps ballast for 54 bucks. I,ll know for sure after I turn out a few more plants ,when I,ll switch over . I just harvested a Purple FLo last night .She was burned up too like the bucket scrog . But she was mature had more amber this time and buds were swollen up nice . Buds going in the chamber this morning to start some humidity cycles .

Cold weather has still been keeping me from takeing good pics .

I do not know if you know this but HTG has a shop in Commerce City near Denver...is where I purchased my light and some pro mix casting...lol a bunch of stuff...no shipping that way....They even gave me a discount on top of an already great deal

Yeah thats how I knew them , but havent been over there yet . Definatly getting my ballast there .They beat anybody else by 30-40 dollars. Wish somebody local had CMH though .Was it a nice place HTG?

it is big and behind a liquor store...lol...lotsa stuff and I MEAN LOTS!!! But is kinda like a warehouse...but they have it all plus some and the prices are awesome...got the 30# castings for $20!!

I have that exact light setup, all bought and shipped from HTGsupply. Every time I got everything in like 3 days. Plus you get some free lighters. I hear that if you call them, you get a discount, but if you are within driving distance, that'd be awesome. I definitely suggest them.

I went while I was there in Denver....get this.... I purchased a compressed bale (7 cu feet) of Promix bx with mychropro $30.... 400 watt hps complete with bulb and 4 sided reflector hood $119 ..... 30 lbs of fresh locally produced worm castings $20 .... gh ph cal solution 7.01 4.01 $14.... Big Jar ona gel $10...plus gave me an additional $25 off the total and 2 t-shirts... 5 lighters with bottle openers built in... Baseball cap... Visor ... stickers and 3 different sized measuring cups....awesome people...they are a bit stuck on AN but they will learn...lol...Really good prices on everything...Their prices on House and Garden nutes are really good if you are interested in that sort of thing...I dont do canna specific but if I would that is probably what I would use....Shit I should get them to pay me for this!!! LMAO!!

But I cannot stress enough how great these people are...they set the standard for customer service... They truly do put the customer first....Wish there were more companies like them

RM3 told me there is a hydro shop in Denver that carries the cmh but it is $72 ... I do not know which one...check with your local lighting/electrical supply companies around Denver ...They will have them and at a better price probably...They are designed to replace the yellow light in hps systems in workplaces to give them "happy light" or more natural light so they won't even blink or think you want it for growing ...just make sure it is this part number so you do not get the coated uv block bulb
