Veg Transplants

I will be doing some transplanting this morning . I have a ISS and a Blueberry Express both from clone needing to be transplanted from a #1 pot to a #3 . These was once again poor quality clones I bought that have been vegging for awile . I have been getting backed up on plants which has allowed me longer veg times to nurse sick plants back to strong ones .

These guys will get Happy Frog soil but I,m going to ammend with more perlite this time for a quicker dry time. Going atleast 30% perlite and just dolomite lime .No other ammendments .These will be my "Make it Rain" test plants .They will get Dyna Grow Foilage Pro and Jacks for nutes . I,m heading out to saturate the pots now with plain water and a little Liquid Karma for transplant shock .

Got em transplanted . Man I'm sick of transplanting like this . I'm going to have to go to starting them in peat pods and straight to a #3 or something. My camera went dead so didn't get very good pics but they will do .Well hell they are all blurred sucks when your phone takes better pics than your camera .Oh well . I took some with my phone will upload those later.

Started on my outdoor raised garden bed yesterday . Got the earth all turned up and framed my box.The garbage can full of used soil barley made a dent in filling it . Went ahead and limed it and mixed in some dry ferts I needed to use up . Probaly head out today and pick up some compost to fill it in . Still about a month b4 it's warm enough to plant ,so I,ll probaly cover it with plastic and let it cook till plantng time .I,ll go ahead and start my seeds indoors though so I have some plants ready .
I mainly do tomatoes and peppers .Would like to find a some hybrid cucumber bush plants.

Right on , I want to go both days and it's just 20 diff to get the vip . I'll have to find out what the party is about and see if it's worth it , probaly not since we could have more fun with a RIU get together of our own that night while everyone is in town .

I'm going to share my entire RIU experiance in an attempt to educate others of the marketing schemes and grower trains of thoughts . I think this will be helpful in some way to others

I entered this forum as clueless as any other newb . I was overwhelmed at how many different nutes and additives . Holy hell there are so many and my how expensive they are . I fell for it some and then I read the famed 3lbs post on another forum . This explained to me for the first time that canna nutes are nothing but a way for people to profit at our expense considering most nutes are made from plant extracts and such beet molassas and etc . They explain how you can make all these nutes yourself and it's all organic.

I thought hell yeah forget buying expensive nutes when you can make your own stuff and it's all organic . MMM organics seems like a good direction to head . Read and researched all about it . I was intrigued by the soil food web and how it works to make nutrient uptake easier for the plant .BUT they say NO sythetic nutes can be used .It will KILL your miroherd .No acid ph down it kills your microherd . And no no no this and that . Okay easy enough get an organic non canna liquid nute and ammend the soil organicly.

Then I find Riddleme when the Balls to the Wall thread started and followed it . I'm thinking damn this guy just got back into growing but hell he is smart and knows how to talk to us on a level that is easy to understand. But with all the organics being crammed down my throat ,I was hard headed and just figured I couldn't do what they was doing because they use chem nutes and flushing would just wash out my goodies in the soil and disrupt the microherd since true organics relys on this for a good yield .

Well I am here to tell you my friends dont fall for the Organic hype no more than the Canna nutes . Both are nothing but business for profit they trick us into believing we need to buy this stuff . Organics is nothing but a green movement for growing and they make you think you have to use only organic products right down to PH adjusters and pest management .Organics is just a bad ploy as Cannanutes , dont fall for it like lots of us has .(Ask Daniels )

It's truly just about the plant . She doesn't care how much you spent on your nutes ,whether they are chem or organic ,or how popular they are , she doesn't care if it's OMRI certified you cant kill the micro herd ,it's a very strong string chain of bacteria and mutiplys 1000 times over. A profesor in this field gave UB some interesting info about this and basically said you have to pour bleach in your pot to kill the mircoherd .Not only that he led to believe that the microherd doesn't perform in containers as it does outdoors and basicly buying Myco for indoor grows is simply a waste of money .She just simply wants to be feed what she needs when she wants it .
And thanks to great people like RM3 and UB we now know how to do this and kick it in Overdrive . RM3 Make it Rain, UB water till plenty of run off , let her "wick",keep em green . Hints and clues and great articles from both of these good people we all look to for help at some point or another. It is truely epic what is going on at RIU ,could you imagine if it was gone tommorrow? Take advantage of this info NOW print it out for hard copies . Read and learn . I have been unemployed since I joined and spend time in here every day . If I was working it would take me a few years I think to learn what I have in a short amount of time and I am grateful .I have spent thousands of hours reading and researching everyday.

I have had that awakening now that I needed so badly. I was once blind but now I see . It feels like being as excited about this as the first day I joined .
In summary dont fall for the ploys. These guys are teaching us the honest to gods truth . Embrace it and your plants will reward you .

It's on now brother's , Hyperdrive is kicked in and monsters are on the way !

Peace !

P.S This is why I started a new journal since in my other one I am hard headed and stuck on organics ,So to get this off my chest here a big FUCK organics and FUCK cannanutes for wasting my time .

Good afternoon everyone ! I have decided I have been limiting my self to LST . So I gave Flo a good ole hair cut . Clipped her above the 5th node 2 days ago . I kinda dig this , the growth at the nodes just start reaching for the sky and she hasn't slowed down a bit . It works just like they say no stress at all she just licks her wounds and takes off trucking .

What I am finding with LST at the rate of growth I was going it was taking to long to get the height I need on the branches before flowering . So this tells me that LST works great but you actually lose some time to training ? I was getting pretty intense with the training I must note most I got over 180 deg out of the stalk but if you want 10-16 colas you have to do this because the plant has to grow enough main runners to achieve it . Which equals a long veg ! So mild LST is okay to get around 6-8 colas on a normal veg .All of this was done with slowed growth rates I must also add. But it should be true across the plane no matter what your growth rates are.

I am afraid by topping I might get to tall . We will find out , I like this deal here. No more tying for me if it works . I'm sick of tying and retying branches . Topping above the 5th node is supposed to do around 12 colas I believe. Plus If they are going to be too tall ,I can resort to training those heads down enough to give me clearance .:)

lol...I top above the second for 4 then I lst the four....kinda like scrog with no tellis....I have 29 tops:o:hump:2 1/2 months veg

Namaste':leaf:
Holy crap man , 29 heads ? I wanna see ! I got a plant in veg that has been waiting to go up for awile ,my biggest plant yet in fact . Its been in a #3 pot and has ,I'm guessing havent counted in a bit but I think 16 main heads . I just spead her open some to let the center grow up some but hell 29 main heads or just all together? Thats badass Lumi !

P.S. That plant gets its first rain today ,and will go to a 5g bucket next week It is for sure going to be a plant to put on a good show .

Well guys and gals after months of buying RO water , I tryed something different . I couldn't get my tap to PH down in the past , so I tryed running it through a Brita filter , then used Apple Cider Vinegar(Thanks RM3) instead of lemon juice and I be dammed it worked . Made it Rain on my first plant today ! Will be keeping an eye on her to start wicking.

This is just fucking great .Lot's of breakthroughs for me in growing as well as my life . Dam it's great to know I don't have to make those trips to get RO water anymore . Life is good !
