Ill grow a 2 pounder and ill document it this year. I run in pure coco too and I wont have any "led deficiencies". Ill tag you in on it when its over.
Thats some weird shit going on with your plants. reminds me of a plant I grew outdoors once where one branch out of all the branches was wilting, thought I had fusarium wilt and shit. Do you use beneficial microbes at all?
They help coat the roots and protect against bad pathogens. Should look into it. Great stuff.
Documenting a few nice pounders rn under led. One of them is next to that plant sharing the same light. Strain specific problem or some just take longer. Starting back on bennies now.

2 pounders are nothing special anymore.
You can already buy them, lol!

It's also a good idea to mix coco 20-30 : 1 with EWC to bring the right micro flora into the coco without adding too much nutes.

No it’s not that. Hybrid was saying to try and grow pounders without getting his so called “led deficiencies” that shit cracks me up lol. He said it doesn’t happen to small plants under led. So I told him I’ll grow a tree filling up a 4x4. I’ll see if I run into led deficiencies or not.
About adding ewc to coco, I wouldn’t. Coco has exceptional buffering. Amending it throws off the balance between the buffering and cec of the coco and the nutrients you’re trying to use. It’s really good on its own.

View attachment 4314735 Cupdate . Well, she grew allot over the past week. Feeding 99x a day.
You can tell its the same plant cuz it has the LedDefficiency. >:(
Beyond the technical and tangible aspects of gardening are the emotional and intangible components.

That plant is not happy. Perhaps it was vegged too long for its productive lifespan. Or perhaps the em field from drawing 20K watts vs. 1k watts is having an adverse impact. Was it always the plant on the end? Maybe it was the location within the room. What is on the other side of the wall? I cannot make an accurate judgement of your space using only my eyes and therfor cannot diagnose any problem.

If you think any of those Ideas are too far out there, just stop reading.

Is it because the light produced by led is more particle than wave? What about your energy and attitude? Arey you still running hps/hid elesewhere? Are the balasts or drivers creating radiation fields we have not properly evaluated? Cheap noisy electronics in soundsystems annoy the fuck out of me but go unnoticed by others, is the same thing happening to that plant? Is the room or tray oriented so that plants not getting the same hydraulic action as the others? Ok, so that last one is technical and tangible, but its not something that can be seen in pics.

@hybridway2 has there been any change in the rate at wich you cull plants under led? Curious if you may have been unintentionally filtering the plants exhibiting undesireable traits?

To add another question to what ss grower said, one thing that I remembered now is that when you use salts in coco it loses its charge and once that happens you start to run into what looks like weird ph and you get micro and macro nutrient deficiencies. If you were growing commercially, the holy grail is consistency. If youre reusing that coco you lose that consistency and control.
I remember you saying you grow in a mix of coco and perlite (maybe)? If its new coco everytime then I dont know what it could be. Do you reuse coco hybrid?

Hump Day!

Wednes Day!
Old English Wōdnesdæg ‘day of Odin’, named after the Germanic god Odin or Woden, the supreme god; translation of late Latin Mercurii dies, Odin being equated with the Roman god Mercury. Compare with Dutch woensdag .

Those leaves may be faded but the cola is alive n swelling noticeable. Love that shit!!
Going for the 1 oz cola but think i porked myself early in with not only Mega Cold temps & plain water all the time but by leaving the media only half full for so long. I dont think the roots filled the rest of the cup. Root stretch was well over by then .20190411_222440.jpg 20190411_222855.jpg

We are finished. Was tired of looking at the cup after a week of neglect. Biggest mistakes made during the grow were:

Not enough medium for roots
Layer of perlite near bottom (will not use next time)
Too few # of feedings-cup lost moisture too frequently and plant lacked nutrients
RH too low in tent throughout entire grow
3 days away where temps jumped and RH dropped significantly with no humidifier going

Do you figure it's mature enough to have some potency?
Man making the top ten is starting to look feasible, although my plant gets mangled by the day. Deficiencies up the wazoo
