OK,
So I don't sleep well at times....and last night happen to be one of those times.
I got to thinking about the elections, and for the first time I stepped back and took a look at the whole picture.
I think that the election was a stage act, just the same as it was with the 2000 and 2004 elections.....you know the ones where we elected one guy but the other guy got into office instead?
So here's the deal.
The powers that be, know that the american public is upset to say the least. Our economy is shit, Bush has the lowest approval rating in the history of american presidents, we are still in a war and nobody is sure why we are even there in the first place....etc etc etc .
They know that putting another republican in office would not only upset americans, but the world in general. With a new face in office (and a black face to boot) people will feel better about the direction the country is going. When in all reality everything has stayed the same....only the faces have changed.
McCain was a puppet. He was thrown into this election knowing full well that he was going to lose. I think they set McCain up to run just so they could get Sara Palin's name out there for 2012.
Think about how the McCain campaign was run. He almost bailed from the race back in 07 when hes run started to crash down around him. He wasn't able to raise even 1/4 of what was needed to continue his race. Half way threw the campaign he gave up....literally. He stopped making phone calls, knocking on doors, and trying to raise money. Then all of a sudden he's back, running for president with the backing of the entire republican party.
Now look how the campaign money was spent. In the key states that were absolutely needed for McCains victory, they lacked not only the funds for advertisement, but also the visits from McCain himself.
In sates such as Florida, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Obama outspent McCain 4:1 in advertising. Obama visited key states such as Florida 16 times where McCain only went there 7 times.
Ok now look at the final day. Nov 4th nobody knows whos gonna win. They can project Obama is gonna win....but I remember going to bed in 2000 thinking Al Gore was the new president and waking up to G.W. Bush in office. So nobody knows whos gonna be president till all polls close.
Did anyone eles notice that the stage that McCain had was 1/4 of the size that Obama had?
Obama had room for 150k people to attend with a huge stage surrounded by bullet proof glass.
McCain had a little stage and enough room for about 3000 people.
Seems like they planned this a few weeks ahead of time knowing that Obama would need a bigger stage and room for alot of people.....Now how can they prepare for this even a week ahead of time without some prior knowledge of the outcome?
If McCain would have won then they would have been screwed for space, and his setting just would not have been very presidential. Could you imagine Obama giving his concession speech on his stage while the new president had that little tiny stage?
Now I'm just pointing out the stuff in this election that set my bullshit meter off. I say it looks like a setup. Some may call me a paranoid stoner....but I'm just calling it how I see it (Or as the new president might say "I'm just keeping it real")
With that said id like to personally add: I truly hope that Obama will be everything he has said hes gonna be, I hope he can improve relations with the middle east as well as the rest of the world and the mind sets of americans. I hope he is the best president of my life time.....But I am also a realist...I think everything will stay the same, only the faces have changed.
