The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

No my bags have no defects and this is not cool. I will talk to Stephanie about that. Give me a clue on the order so that they know what I am talking about.

Finally got in touch with Stephanie, new bags should (hopefully) be here soon...they've been having some email problems I guess ?..?

Hard hash is usually old hash or low quality so if heat does not do it, put the chunk in your coffee and enjoy the day
I will be getting new things from Kase tomorrow, I hope to try maybe a eigth of it to try a dry sieve. But the buds he has look so beautiful its hard for me to do lol

The more water you have when you run your trims the better so small quantity will work real good, actually better than a big load. All the best

Hi Frenchy or anyone else who has purchased the boltdbags. Do these bags drain faster than say your generic Bubble bags? I am looking to purchase them and am wondering what the main differences are. We did some handmade IWE yesterday and the 25 micron bag took a long time to drain, will the boldtbags drain significantly more quickly, and if so, roughly by how much?

Much appreciation.

I have a set of the custom Boltdbags {Frenchy Bags}, they drain super fast!! not sure how much faster, but at least twice as fast as a standard bag. watch Frenchy's first Video on youtube you will see.

http://t.homedepot.com/p/Orbit-1-2-in-Slip-x-3-4-in-MHT-PVC-Fitting-53362/202257137/

My hash press!
$1.54 at Home Depot.
1 - hammer, I use a 1lb dead blow hammer, but any hammer will do.
1 - pvc fitting is 1/2" slip x 3/4" thread as a body to press kief in.
1 - dowel 1/2" x 6" or substitute a tool.
6- Nickels fit nice and tight, I stack 3 then fill with up to 4 grams of kief, cover with another Nickel and place on hard surface.
I use a 3/8" nut driver as my dowel, just place over nickel hit start hitting with hammer stack another nickel when it goes down.
You will warp the nickels if you only use 1 or 2, use 3 min on the bottom and 2-3 on top then Pound.

After you crush it flip it over and use your tool or dowel and hammer and tap out the nickels and pressed kief.

I set my oven to 220 (I use a heat gun to keep accurate) place pressed kief on foil heat for 10 minutes.
Remove and wrap in Saran Wrap and roll with anything round.
throw it in the freezer and wait an hour.
or
Throw back in press then freeze press so cookie will separate from nickel. The Nickels will get some build up, mine have!

You will have a nice chunk, it's a two gram minimum to get a good cookie, I have wedged 5 grams into the tube.
Just pound some make space then add some more then pound some more.
then bake!

I personally use my hands and palm to press hash, if its good it should be sticking together like glue after a quick hand press. After if it contain to much plant matter don't bother to press it just sprinkle it in your bowl or joint ! The only time i expose my hash to heat is when i smoke it,

I think gravity method is used after mixing frozen weed and Ice the agitate for 20 minutes on bucket either by hand with a spoon or with a drill and paddle mixer ( find paddle mixer at Home Depot in tile tool section)

after the mixing The heavier trichs fall inside the water to the bottom of the water.

the water must be still at least 4 hours.

using clear bottles allows you to see scoop of floating weed try not to stir water.

Remove 99.9-100 % of plant matter.

Let water sit for 6 hours, now you have a bottom layer of Trichs and dirty water.

Syphon off water with a small dia. Tube to within a half inch of Trichs.

after you Syphon off then you can pour out onto a coffee filter.

If you removed all the plant and let it sit still for both periods the reward is pure Trichomes.

Dry in warm sunlight.

i did do this one time and really enjoyed the end result, full melt hand rolled hash.

after mixing in a bucket I poured the Mash thru a sieve two times then I poured it into two liter soda bottles for the final sit before siphoning.

I didn't take pics....

I will start to photo my little science experiments.

I copy most all from internet sources like YouTube.

i have been using the gravity method for quite some time, more or less in the same way. I have a 75 microns screen now and do the gravity method for anything smaller, i then use a news paper to remove excess water or i simply use the water to cook instead of fully drying
