The pressing before the smoking I hope.
Looks really Yummy!!!
What is it???
Cant lie, I've already smoked some befor pressing,,, and it's fab :-) it's from the trims of the bud posted, real frosty quality trim. That bud is a cross I made of blueberry haze and the father was a double bubble x big Buddha cheese, wonderful fruity skunkiness in the end product wich translated to the hash well.

As long as the foam is white it is all good, should happen mostly when you fill up the machine with too much pressure.
Nothing to do with the genetic!

Mr.frenchy, love watching the hunters of the dank show, I can't wait to meet you man. I envy the cali life and really need a few mentors, I was wondering though what your opinion is on some fresh scissor hash, just got totally baked from scissor hash from some blueberry, blue dream and og kush. Smells very good and tasted like hash not fruity or anything but would this type of hash be just as potent per say your canoli?

ps, I been really wanting to move to a legal state and maybe be someone's apprentice , do you know how I could do so Frenchy , I really need someone's help on getting to a legal state I have a disease where I develope pollups in my colon, rectum, intestines and I saw subcool posted a video back in January which said how they found out that cannabis can slow down the developement or even stop the growth of these cancerous pollups completely , this is amazing , I am a new smoker and new grower for about a year now and I go back to my specialist in July to see after 2 years how many pollups I developed , I never ever looked forward to a doctor appointment and if this slows down my developement then that means I live longer and also save money because of how expensive these surgeries are, it's insane how expensive they are, I'm early 20s and never bought a home but I'm 250,000 in debt even after 90/10 insurance!! I can barely sleep at night thinking of that but I stay positive and keep hope. So I will find out how many pollups I developed in a matter of 2 years here soon, when I was 20 I had over 250, so average is what I'll go off of, I also had to have a colonoscopy at 18, they took out half my colon and installed a j-pouch, or fake organ lol , ,I have to be careful now and with marijuana it gives me relieve with stress and the fear of being sick again. Love ya tga! Thank you for everything and Frenchy I will always use your pure hashish methods.

Thank you all for what you have done. Cannabis legal laws have come a long way. It's such a blessing. Don't take it for granted.

I really do not take it for granted quite the opposite actually. Remember that when you want something the best is to get at it. If you have no responsibilities you should be able to move wherever whenever

Frenchy, after drying, is there any difference between curing then pressing before use or aging, and the opposite ie press right away and cure the pressed piece [all conditions being equal say 1 week drying and 8 weeks cure]
if there is a difference, please explain
thanks in advance

With ice water sieving the only curing you can do before pressing is when you cure your flowers before trimming, over 3 months is perfect or when you dry sieve and then cure the trichomes for 3 months. The curing I do after pressing is an insurance against mold when working with water but most important may it be for dry or water sieve it give the time to the resin to "absorb" all plant material in its mass it takes between 8 to 12 weeks depending on quantity, quality, strains, etc. The aging is the final step and I will quote myself, it is part of my workshop.
AGING = Most connoisseurs would agree that the aging process helps mellow the smoke and improve the flavors but there is very little scientific data available on the subject. On the other hand, there is plenty first- hand reports about quality Hashish as old as 12 to 15 years, 3 to 5 years being common. Like tobacco, wine, hard liquor or cheese aging develop the taste but again the choice of container, aging environment and oxygen removal is essential to the process.

Hi Frenchy! What's new and exciting? :)
A lot of running around or should I say driving around with TC. I am finishing the book for the Frenchy Cannoli Workshop that goes deeper than what I will give live, more dates and scientific details that could overwhelm live. A lot of writing and setting up articles which I start to enjoy big time. A little spin in between to keep in shape, Frenchy JaYRz and pins coming very soon. Jamming some with Mendo Dope, they are finishing a Hunters of the Dank song. Learning and enjoying life, what else there is to do???

Man, I'm glad I asked as I was counting the period between drying and pressing as part of the cure period. I got into the habit of leaving the tricomes un pressed and opening the container every day , then pressing when I had the time. I need to recalculate.

It works as well but you are loosing more terpenes and flavonoids when you do not press.
