2 inch ice cubes. Anyone have an opinion on ice cube size? Thinking that this could work out better for me if I am making my own ice instead of buying it. The less surface area means they would last longer between washes. I was also thinking of freezing blocks of ice in chinese take away containers so I could pre chill my water for filling the washer and spraying/cleaning the hash in the bags before harvesting. I was going to do it in a large esky with a tap fitted on it - fill it with large blocks of ice and just fill that with the tap water to get it down to 1 degree or so. Its just when I am doing large runs the ice bill gets quite big...

Wish I had snow like some of you :)

the bigger the ice cube the longer it lasts. i was thinking same thing use 4 big cubes instead of 100 small ones.

Frenchy, as I mentioned previously I got in the habit of drying 4 to 7 days then putting the loose resin in a jar and curing for 4 weeks before pressing. Then I pressed. This has become my procedure so far. So, I just looked at a cannoli as it's been 4 more weeks since pressing. The piece looks beautiful, brown , smooth ,glossy, and when you chip off a piece the trichomes are an off white color very clean great smell too. So my question is, now that the resin has cured a month loose then another month pressed can I consider that 8 weeks of curing has elapsed? Or should I only count the post press period as curing?

Also, once aging process begins is it ok to go in and sneak a bit out from time to time? after all, one feels the need for a special hot chocolate or old school toke once and a while :)

You can call it a cure Charsi and NO you should not really have a pick at your aging hashish. However, since you know your need for that special one time to time, you may as well keep a piece just for that and leave the rest alone for as long as you can stand it.
A few months will make a great difference in overall smoothness and depth.

I have a couple peices of chemdog diesel hash left from last outdoor season,my dad and I tried some last nite and it's absolutely amazing the transformation it took on. No way compareable as far as first starting to cure opposed to a long cure/aging.

allot wont do anything that was made with chemicals period bro. he wasn't yelling just being honest. maybe if you said you used co2 pressure tube to extract and make your bho you would get a diff response. ill be looking into that way also i dont want chemicals in my stuff either. organic only.

I am just saying, I do not smoke BHO mostly because of personal taste and overall taste of the product as well. What you need to know when you smoke BHO is who made the extract and how clean it is.

I am going this afternoon but I do not have much to offer to tell the truth, mostly Simpson Oil for a cancer patient and a little Cheese that they may want but not sure.
Shona Banda using a vaporizer to extract the oil so far is the purest way. She beet Krone's was on her death bed video is on YouTube.

I have a question for you that will probably not be easy to answer. But...

Do you have a favorite strain to work with? If that is to general maybe your favorite from each category:
Sativa:
Indica:
Hybrid:
TGA:
Cannabis Aficionado:
