Just finished working with some new strains from our CA friends
I got a Black Lime with one of the most intense nose ever, can compete with Agent Orange, a Vintage Afghani pre-war x Vintage 78 Pakistani as main genes. AWESOME
I was also introduced to the Black Lime x Cherry Pie special cut, very impressive
I love to work with strains that have such a strong "hash plant" heritage.
Fall in love twice during the night

I also had the chance to work with TC Nurse Jackie, very interesting, can't wait to press but the nose is already sublime. I just felt bad to work with buds, nice one to tell the truth but not to TC standards so hashish it is now

They will but it may take a little at that time of the year. We will be back to see them with TC sometimes next week and will mention it.

Just going back through and saw people's thoughts on the 25 bag, I've seen some test results done on each micron from a wash, ie, 25, 70, 120 etc and the 25 bag tested the highest for either THC or combined cannabinoids, can't remember which one. I used to not bother collecting anything under 38, but the test made me think about it and Im gonna collect it from now on, it's just a pain in the ass to drain the bag.

id be interested to hear others thoughts or if any other tests have been done.

The only thing with the 25 is I think it catches some of the dust and dirt and other thing you dont want in you hash also anything under 45 I believe would be premature but I'm just speculating here I'm sure Frenchy would know more

The size of totally ripe and mature trichomes range between 70 and 120 microns, the 45 microns bag will collect trichomes that are of a slightly lower quality (lab test on my work show 1% less THC and 1% more CBD for the 45).
The 25 microns collect broken trichomes parts and a lot of green matter with it. I really have a hard time believing that the level of THC or cannabinoids in the 25 microns is higher than in the 70 microns bag.
IT SIMPLY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
Nikka T use the 25 microns bag but it is for edibles only, time to time he would have some interesting results but it is very rare.

yes i agree, how is there more thc in the 25 than the 70! maybe a premature plant with small unfilled heads? small enough to land in the 25 maybe?

Since we are talking about bags and microns, I would like to mention how important cleanliness is.
Dry sieving evolution through time came with the evolution of the weaving "industry" and of the Silk Road. Ice water process is sieving as well, the use of ice and water does not change the basic of the technique.
The better the material you use, the better the quality. We have today some amazing sieving material but if you do not keep them ultra clean you may as well use a potato bag.
Cleanliness is quality. The cleaner your bags, the higher the quality. I mean clean EVERY bags, EVERY time, ALWAYS.
A lot more work but so worthwhile............

I am also very interested in running some CA gear. I have been growing specifically for IWE hash for years now. Running genetics created by breeders who love and are committed to hash can save a hash head some serious time in the trial and error phases of the large process that is "homegrown hash". I will email CA as well and please do mention the hash nerds are interested in his fine offerings.

Also, my buddy has a great acronym-like definition of larf. I will ask him then post it up! Frenchy you asked me about my pic with the spoon, it is a mixed batch of trim from a buddy that uses biocanna and runs mostly european (NL) genetics from lots of seed. It is a run in my large machine, from really dry and not loved trim full of fans and stems that took a lot of sorting before anything could spin.

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN is THE hash artists mantra, clean organic grow, gentle and precise clean trimming and trim handling !at maturity!, gentle agitation for a clean separation, clean the green with ice water spray, thru clean sieve, clean and fuzz free collection and surface area increase, dry fully (clean the water out), then hand press on a clean palm, and ENJOY real CLEAN HASH, clean flavor, clean ingestion and clean buzz! Me gusta clean meds!!!

If you like Hash plants Kalyx, you should move to North Cal, they got dream genetics that you may not find anymore in the countries of origins, made stronger by what I call "acclimatizing breeding". Exactly like grape plants, that took some hundred years to acclimate perfectly and produce some of the best wine in the world.

I broke 2 cameras this week so I will not have any pics of these 2 CA strains for you, anyway, with the Black Lime it is not about the look it is the NOSE.
I had some nice pics of Sub Vortex, that I pressed without thinking, a see through of different color shade, I could not download them before death took my camera away.
I would like to mention that I hardly touched those cameras, they just died on me. All mechanic and electronic have a bad habit of dying on me. I must be sending some heavy duty bad vibes.
So for anyone who want to piss me off, think twice before doing it, if I can bad vibe machine to death just imagine...........................

Same, it works well with all, that's the point. Just use a 190 as a catch bag to see if you have anything yummy in your 160.
Otherwise the goodies will always be in the 70, the trichomes size differences between strains stay in the 70 to 120 microns range, since I never separate those trichomes I do not see any real difference between strains, especially when it is hybrid. It may be possible to see a difference in the 45 bag if you collect every wash and not collect at the end as I do.
Anyway Durban Poison x Larry OG sounds really interesting, please post some good pics for us

i wish it was a hybrid, im sorry for the confusion it is larry and durban poison separately. Il go ahead and make a very specific video of what im doing when i go through this process and il post it, id love some more notes on what i need to improve on. thanks mate, great show with Tc btw.

You wish.........................
We will be exporting the best hashish in the world for a very simple reason, there is heirloom strains in the triangle that should be considered "National Treasure" and the generationS of growers who made it happen. Even without speaking of genetic quality, the knowledge of 2, 3 generations of dedicated growers will be hard to pick up in a few years.
You have to see it my friend and you WILL believe

agreed^ colorado doesnt even come close to the triangle(let alone europe) and there are years and years of experience out here too, but that place just has a special magic happening there.
