Frenchy, I did my first run with the added 190 today and sure got a nice yield in fact, first wash[160]now looks very close to my 73. I'd saved all my material from 160[catch bag] in the past and was going to use it for butter but I think I'll run it through the 190 and just use that which ends up in the 160 for the butter. Does this make sense?

BTW . I got my 190 locally since Stephanie was back ordered, it works, but is not of comparable quality to the Boldtbags product.

It totally make sense, when your 160 is close to the quality of the 73 you have some pretty serious genetic on your hand my friend, it is rare and will not happen often but awesome for edibles, better than the 25

When I was taking sticks out before running it ,trichomes were literally falling into the roasting pan. I'd love to try some dry sieve. Even the sticks and larger leaves were very sticky .
Kush family ,experienced grower is all I know of the lineage. Beginners luck Baby ! I'll take it :)

Regarding cleaning the bags with Iso alcohol Are folks using 71,91 or 99 % ??? I have a hard time with the fumes[I'm sensitive to chemical smells, aerosols etc] I open a window but I wonder how you guys deal with this and how toxic these fumes are?

lol cant get ice because you're snowed in! Id say any source of clean water/ice is usable, I've been using filtered rain water for my hash runs.

One more observation on having added the 190 Frenchy, Looking at my trichomes , the first and second wash are a beautiful brown and all in all, over the spectrum, there is less green color in later washes although I re used the "clean up" water for the first time.
I thought this may retain more chlorophyll but there seems to be way less. Only the later stuff from the 160 was a bit green though as I mentioned before the first wash in the 160 was as light brown as some previous 73's
The learning continues and I'm diggin' it ! OH yes, I also used a little more water this time.

The fume can be strong if you are sensitive but the stronger the alcohol the stronger the cleaning so wear a mask if you need but don't skip the step

Yes, I use 99% and will try a mask though I think a special lab type mask must be used[ for solvents ] to get any protection. I would never skip this important step but for me gulping fresh air ,holding breath etc is the only unpleasant side of the exercise.

You can use a mask like if you were spraying ether based paint and it will work just fine. Looks like a mini gas mask I guess you could say. Lowes homedepot ect carries them.

Took the 70 micron fresh trim hash from refrigerator after 2 weeks and it is still gooey! I worked it in my hands for a few minutes and could smell the change in the aroma. Smoked a tiny ball in my Erl Dabs pipe. It tasted amazing and got me medicated for a long time! I put the remainder of this hash in my Frenchy Jar and will bring it to the LA Cup. Oooh la la :)

Got some chicken manure for the garden and tried a local brand called Poulet Poo :)

Cheers,
Mo
