The Daily Bud

IMG_2634.jpgIMG_2610.jpgSubcool I want to thank you for the Vortex!!!! I'm actually a first time grower and to be honest did not know I was getting anything special when I picked up my Vortex clones. However once they started growing I was so impressed I took to the internet to find out more about them... And I'm so stoked I lucked into such a fantastic strain! I've got one lady ScrOG'd in DWC (i know now your a soil guy :P) on day 33 of flower and I'm ecstatic! I'd love to bounce some questions/pics off of you cause my grow of course looks a bit diff.. and being a first timer with your strain I'd hate not to do it justice.

Thanks again,
SWK

P.S. I have 3 plants 1 is a Vortex and 2 are G13 Haze in the same DWC bucket... (First timer mistake) And the G13's are LOVING the nutes.. however the vortex's upper most leaves are curling down hard... Looks like overwatering or too high N but I'm in DWC so prob not water.. Other than the droop (8 days old now) they are starting to bulge and look great.

Thanks to anyone for advice

Sub,

Just thought I'd stop by and let ya know I have some Dairy Queen going right now. 3 pretty different phenos but all females out of a 5 pack! One seed got lost in the sauce so that sucks and one was male but definately a great outcome 3 out of 4 seeds female! Oh and the part of your description on the seed pack that states DQ is VERY stinky is dead on as they are about half the size of my BubbleBerry and BlueWidow X Bubba Kush plants and are WAY stinkier! I'll get some pics up once they start to develope some nice looking buds!

Do you guys think that maybe the reason this thread has crapped out is because of the kind of dumb shit that has filled the last three pages?

And for the record, you don't need to flush at all if you're feeding correctly, organic or otherwise. If you have to flush for good tasting buds, you're feeding too goddamned much.
I realize this is an old post.. but man, that guy was a moron eh? Can't stand people like that... come in thinking they suddenly know everything about everything. :|
Prick...

and.. btw, or should I say derrrr "for the record".. your actually wrong. You should ALWAYS flush.. even with organics. I believe in the motto called 'better safe than sorry'.

Anyhow, if you don't flush.. that's your prerogative.. but don't go around telling people that flushing isn't necessary at all.. because your wrong, plus.. it makes you look really stupid.

anyhow.. as for everyone else on this thread... you all are posting some absolutely beautiful and amazing ladies in here. I give you all props.. and as for Sub, well I've been a fan of yours ever since you showed up and started sharing your genetics with everyone.. and you've done nothing but improve throughout the years. Not only have your growing skills improved.. but your genetics have improved as well. I mean what I say, when I say - "Sub has the best genetics available in today's cannabis bean/seed market."

Anyhow.. keep them coming Sub!!!

peace..

P.S. - Hope everyone has a good Easter (those of you who acknowledge the holiday that is..)

Wow, way to be a douche. Facts are facts, drowning your plants with shitloads of water because you've overfed them makes you look stupid. And so does calling someone a moron and a prick, especially regarding a post that old. There is a difference between flushing and simply cutting off the feed before chop. Get real. Flushing involves dumping tons of water through your medium to leach out excess fertilizers and is only done when you've overfed. It's that simple. If you're talking about cutting off ferts a couple weeks before chop, you're right. You should do that if you're using liquid ferts. But that isn't the same as flushing.

I'll repeat it too. Flushing with tons of water is completely unnecessary in organic growing, especially when you're growing in an amended organic soil, such as supersoil.

Oh, and that post you quoted probably makes me look like an asshole because there was a bunch of bullshit and bickering going on the three previous pages that has since been deleted. It's not like I was telling everyone their nice grow pictures were a bunch of dumb shit. It was people that were arguing and crapping up the thread with posts that had nothing to do with the topic.
