It's my first time running a scrog. I have four 4x4 screens. I lollipoped and removed large fan leaves on day 1 of 12/12. On day 20 I removed shoots that didn't reach the screen and removed all the large fan leaves which was around 80% of the leaf mass and took around 5 hours per screen. The leaves were so tightly layered ontop of each other that the leaves that they were transpiring on the leaves directly under them. A few days later the remaining leaves exploded in size so I removed some that were blocking light and air flow.
Each 4x4 screen has around 1000 buds. In hindsight I think this strain is too indican heavy for scrog. I have some concerns that the bud desnity could cause mold problems later in flower. I'm not too concerned with the colas that have turned up and have some space around them but theirs a lot of buds at nodes and tight clusters of colas that seem like they wont have much air flow as they plump up. Its gettings really difficult to defoliate tight clusters and deep in the screen.
I'm wondering if any of the experienced scrog growers have some feed back that theY could give me? Does this look alright or do you think I might run into problems?
