The Cannon auto grow, supersoil + SODK (Mephisto)

Hey RIU, this is Keith from Black Sail. Our First Mate Grace O'Malley is doing a trial run with The Cannon, hanging over the Sour Orange Diesel Kush from Mephisto Genetics:



She's growing 100% organic, feeding one compost tea (or Lactobacillus Serum) and one SST (corn or barley) per week. The S.O.D.K. should grow like god damn jumanji.

Amendments for the soil and compost tea:
Earthworm Castings, Neem Seed Meal, Kelp Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Crustacean Meal, Insect Frass, Glacial Rock Dust, Gypsum, Epsom Salt, Unsulphured Molasses


We made our own Lacto Serum using rice water to collect BIM (Beneficial Indigenous Microorganisms), milk and molasses:



The Cannon is 3500K 80CRI. It pulls 240 watts at the wall at maximum but we've got it turned down to 150 watts for right now, hanging at 16". Our first seed popped her head out of the ground this morning. 100% success rate!

Sooo, we killed a seed. We're resetting the clock with 3 girls this time, starting off in 1 gallon fabric pots. 100% germination rate, thanks Mephisto!

It'll be way easier to control the moisture level of the soil in a smaller container. We'll transplant into 5 gallon fabric pots in about two weeks. For now we're limiting waterings to 50mL at a time.

Honestly, I think we'll put The Cannon to way better use with more than one plant! It's running at 50% right now, that's 120 Watts.
