Nice, I just made mine yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works, I'm assuming its best to Pull air through the filter rather than push it out of the filter??? Anyone opinions?

I have to set this thing up soon, I hope it works decent even though I'm not using sealed cab.

Anyone with something set up in there closet that could snap a quick pic would be much appreciated.. I realize its probably a shot in the dark though because this thread is oooolddd..

in what space is this filter effective the most do u think considering its size? might make one for my 45 LED grow box that im going to eventually construct with pc fans etc. it'll be my own little experiment... probly going to mainly use it for vegging clones out of the dome tho before flower with the 1000watt HPS.. but it'll b there to experiment with, like autogrower's etc. if i desire.. havent really put it to the full test yet.

I'm assuming smaller areas but I'm going to try 2 filters in my area with only 2 70 cfm cpu fans as exhaust.. I currently have one in there and it seems to be working from what I can tell so far..

I went to wal mart and CANNOT find the pencil cup holders!!!
When do you suggest to put the filter on? What week? how long does the filter last for???????

I read through the first 13 pages and need to run to the store so I thought id ask incase anybody on now knows the answer. Is there a way to make this to just stand in the room? I am using a room made in an unfinished basement so I do not have it closed off at the top. If it comes down to it I could board off the top and add a fan with the filter, but I would first like to see if I could make one to just sit in the room. Even if it doesnt work as well, even getting rid of half the smell would be a plus.

Do some searches on using ONA gel, a 5 gallon pail, a bit of water and a cheap $10 fan. Mix ONA and water in bottom of pail. Drill holes around the pail about 4-6" from the top. Set the fan blowing into the bucket and forcing the air into the ONA gel and out through the holes in the pail. Then set the bucket right in the middle of your grow or next to any grow cabinets. I've seen several posts like this and many swear by it! It doesn't mask odor but actually neutralizes it.

i myself went to two wal-marts n a target and could not find the pencil holders pisses me off lol seems like they knew we could make carbon filters outta them now they only sell new leather ones in only one size...i used two differnt size plastic cups and poked a million holes in them looks almost identical i duno if the plastic is a good idea but im going to give it a try ill post a pic of what it looks like finished really good info on this thread though great idea!!
