Thank You Uncle Sam!!!

Yeah baby. Thank you Uncle Sam! Those pesky dispensaries were just getting in the way of the real money. With them on the retreat, we can start reverting to the good ol days. Hell, in time we may get wholesale prices up over 4k again. Just like the beginning of Prohibition, we are living in a world of opportunity. We all know that the same amount of weed will be consumed regardless of the laws. Dispensaries just made it easier for The Man to keep an eye on our action, AND keep his hand in our collective cookie jars.

The estimates for California's weed markets range from $1 billion to $14 billion. Quite the spread. The reason for that spread is that Government has no fucking idea how much the weed market is worth. Now, with their help, we're sure they never will! Every dispensary closed is one less source of income and information for The Man. We should just close em all. Fuck it. Those terminal patients who now can't get their meds? Fuck them, too. That's what morphine is for. The handful of people who will stop smoking without dispensaries? Let em get drunk instead...nobody's every done anything bad on booze.

Yessir fellow businessmen. Our time is now. The black market is back. Hell, I'm dusting off my old Black Book of weed brokers and old prison pals. If we can't sell our overage to a local dispensary, I'll happily export it to South Carolina for more money. Shit, why keep the money here in California? It's not like the state has $$$ problems. And make no mistake, the money is in the dispensary sales...not growing. Fuck all that overhead for space, insurance, and all those pesky taxes and fees. Instead of spreading all that cash around, stimulating the economy, and creating jobs; we can keep it! We'll be using $100 bills for cum rags.

So thank you to all parties: The Feds, the Local Cities who bent over to be bitch fucked by The Feds, the Landlords who let the Governement decide who they rent to, and the Fed Cops who just blindly enforce whatever law The Man dictates. Thank you for just walking away from a multi billion dollar industry...leaving it in our trustworthy hands. Thank you for spending money on us rather than making money on us. The crazy part is, you did it for free. Any other business would've had to spend millions lobbying to avoid all those taxes and fees. Not to mention forsaking any future taxes and revenue. Shit, for a minute there I thought you were going to treat us like cigarettes and make a fortune off us. But instead, you let us have all the cash. God Bless America.

I'll never understand how we all sit by and live in a country that does everything ass backwards. If the government would take a step back and see that the money they are getting from other industries to keep pot illegal is SO MUCH LESS then what they would make by legalizing, regulating and taxing it....then things would have changed years ago. Too many hidden agendas....too much greed....and too much damn religion.

I'm still moving to cali though ^_^

The dispensaries alone claimed $2 billion in income last year. You got to figure they take in at least twice as much cash as that which goes unreported. And the black market is way bigger than the dispensary market still. Then their's the export market. All things considered I'd say California grows a minimum of $10 billion dollars of bud per year retail.

The thing about it is that even if the courts rule store front dispensaries illegal, collectives will still be legal. It's easy as hell to open a delivery service. So it'll be like the black market with added legal protection. If they think dispensaries are the wild wild west, wait until they have thousands of collectives running delivery services that just list their lawyers address as their business address. Good luck stopping that.

I love the idea of dispensaries. But if they do get rid of them, they are just opening the door to a system that will be nearly impossible for them to stop. They will also be making people like me extremely rich! They have no idea what they hell they are doing.

Yeah! shut them all down! The ones in washington as well! If that happens I might have to think about shutting my room down and pick up my car keys again! In the good ol' days, I made a killing driving down here from washington, now I hardly make anything the lady makes more than I do now! I'd Come down, pick up a 5 pack and head straight back, made a few calls on the way and it was gone before I got home, no more than 2 weeks later do it again. With in 24 hours I doubled my money! Screw driving a semi, they don't make that kind of money in a 24 hour trip! The real market down here is going to be very hard to judge, I was living VERY well just driving around with a 5 pack! 10-15k turned into 20-30k really fast! ohhhh the good ol' days.... Now my only question is, what the fuck did I do with all that money?....

If it happens you'll also see alot of current indoor growers operations get bigger...and the money getting spread out more evenly amongst the growers.

Let's be honest some of us on here want it legal but only after we have made our retirement
Would I like things to be done is a certain way that benefits me? Sure. But I'll still support any and all serious legalization efforts as they come. It's too important not to.

But would I like a few years to make an obscene amount of money? Fuck yeah. But that didn't stop me from supporting prop 19, even though it wasn't that great of a legalization law and would have probably shut me out.

I would like to see it legal but don't really have any monetary use for it...I try to grow enough to keep m ein supply cuz I got tired of dealing with a bunch of criminals to get my weed...Now I am the only criminal I have to deal with.

Can't hate on people for getting busted for growing. With a little bad luck that could happen to any grower.

Very true about getting busted. It could happen to any of us.

I'm not terminal and don't know anyone that currently is but that was pretty harsh. There will be someone that will read the original post that may have a husband, wife, son, daughter, mother or father that is terminally ill. That's just a little fucked up.

Yes, I'm an ex-convict and even a prick at times. But, I do have enough brain power to recognise sarcasm. You missed the entire point. If you knew anything about me you'd know that my Collective donates free of charge unlimitted meds to any terminal, cancer, or AIDS patient that cannot afford to pay for their own. The monthly dollar value of those donations currently exceeds $1,000 per month. That's an extra grand I could have in my pocket every month. What have you done lately?

BTW, I was busted by the DEA for growing over 100 plants and recieved the 5 year mandatory minimum sentence in federal prison...of which I served 85% of. I am not ashamed of this, and neither is my wonderful and supportive mother.

Hold on! I currently get ALL my meds FREE donated to me by CG. I don't get crap I get stuff that is better than anything I have seen listed as 'top shelf' in the few dispensaries I have visited. I am very sick although not currently terminal. Best of all CG's mmj is pain specific. I have been able to cut my morphine by 50% to 75% and more now with the newer more potent batch CG just gave me! CG is rightly frustrated by the current environment. It is wrong, closing the dispensaries makes it terribly hard for older people like my husband and I who last smoked Marijuana in the 60's & early '70's to find anything that might work. If not for CG's compassion and kindness I WOULD be poisoning myself to death on the amount of morphine I had to take.

I am NOT terminal now solely due to CG's skill, genetics and willingness to risk his freedom on people like me. So please do not misunderstand, CG was posting from frustration. He's the rare man that actually stands up for his ideals and god bless him for taking me under his wing.

If I knew of CG prior to reading the original post, I would of never posted in the first place. Unfortunately there are a lot of people with that exact attitude. It just pisses me off.

CG - It sounds like you are doing some fantastic things with yourself and for others. Keep it up man.

Public apology to you brother. kiss-ass
