22 Days in and all are looking well. The plan was putting them into one gallon bags before going into their final containers, but due to my veg areas restricted space they had to be kept in cups longer than was expected. Now that the next round is started and flowering, it opened up some space. The roots were looking really good, so they were placed them in their final destinations to get nice and big. For this run of Qush I will use a combination of 5 gallon Home Depot buckets and 7 gallon grow bags and with Roots Organic as a base and Sub's supersoil mix in the bottom thirdish. For the mix I am using a lighter supersoil mix than normal and went about 25% to 35%. Well enough babbling, here they are.

Update. Day 32 from seed.

Just recently topped and they are seeming to responding to it well. Oh and in a true stoner move I realized that last time I numbered the photos them I didn't stake and number the pots. I don't want to guess as to which one is which, so I just numbered them now. Sorry for any confusion. All are healthy and happy and I am just hoping for a lot of ladies. I will get more in depth about phenos, traits, and details of bud formation, smells, frost content ect...later on when I determine the ladies of the bunch. And here they are steaked and numbered.

Update (Pics taken Friday) Qush from seed day 39.

Just got some time to put up the pics I took on Friday. Well the males finally have come out to play. I have culled #2,4,8,9 because the balls were showing and I am strictly looking for ladies. I am pretty sure that #1,3,5,7 are female and #6 I am, still up in the air about, but am leaning/hoping for another ladie. Everything is very healthy and looks great, this cross seems to be vigorous and takes to topping well. I am happy with the progress. The plan is to take clones, let them go another week (about 50 days) or so and then flower them out. Enough with the talk, here they are.

#1- Taller not as bushy. Looks to be Space Queen dominate.

DSCN1930.jpgDSCN1931.jpg

#3- Similiar to #1 in structure. Also looks Space Queen dominate.

DSCN1916.jpgDSCN1912.jpg

#5 - Very broad and bushy. Looks to be Bubba Kush dominate.

DSCN1938.jpgDSCN1935.jpg

#6- This one is what I would consider a 50/50 mix as its both broad and bushy but still has a nice height.

DSCN1944.jpgDSCN1947.jpg

#7- Very broad and bushy. Looks to be Bubba Kush dominate.

Thanks Nugs. And to answer your question yes it is Sub's supersoil. Once I converted to sub's supersoil I have never looked back.

Well since RIU lost a month or so of my posts/updates I will continue the journal from this point. If you would like to see what happened between day 39 and 62 you can at this link here https://www.greenpassion.org/index.php?/topic/31510-qush-bubba-kush-x-space-queen/page__gopid__447634#entry447634 .

I just don't have the time to re-post and re-update all of these, as they take quite of bit of time organize and upload.

Update Day 71 from Seed. Day 27 Flower.

The stretch phase is ending and the swell has/is beginning. At almost four weeks more aromas are coming out and they are really starting to show nice flower formations.

Here are some traits and things I noticed as times gone on.

#7 is by far the most Bubba Kush dominant plant staying shorter and stacking on the flowers likes nobody's buisness with super tight nodes and looks like she is going to be a heavy indica lady with buds that will be rock hard and of good size.

#1 and #3 and I will now say #6 (leaning) are all looking Space Queen dominant and like to stretch. They still have nice forming flowers but they aren't quite stacked as close.

#5 is slightly bubba dom, but not as much as #7 and overall is one of the best ones in all categories at this point. She has a nice scent coming off her, though I can't put my finger on it.

The frost should be coming along shortly and I am very happy with the way things are looking.

Having to choose between these is going to be no easy task.

On to the good stuff.

#1-SQ Dominant / 41" from the soil

Day 84 from seed. Day 40 of 12/12.

Here we are at day 40. The resin content is picking up and the smells are coming out to play. Colors are also coming out on some. I can't put my finger on the smells just yet, but I am definitely a sucker for smell and I am a happy camper. I wouldn't say that I have a favorite at this point, and I can tell you picking only one is not going to be easy.

The most bubba dom plant is #7 and she is a beast. She has the most color, has a nice smell and is the most stout stacked (tightest nodes) lady of the bunch. Her structure is a thing of beauty.

DSCN2276.jpgDSCN2312.jpgDSCN2277.jpgDSCN2283.jpgDSCN2285.jpgDSCN2284.jpgDSCN2296.jpg

The two clear Space Queen dom phenos #1 and #3 have the most trichs of the bunch but will probably yield the least of the 5, though when I look for what I like yield is not my main focus. Smells are apparent and these baby's are nice in the eye appeal category.

#1

DSCN2318.jpgDSCN2340.jpgDSCN2319.jpgDSCN2320.jpgDSCN2321.jpgDSCN2322.jpgDSCN2332.jpg

#3

DSCN2343.jpgDSCN2345.jpgDSCN2346.jpgDSCN2349.jpg

#5 and #6 are what I would call 50/50. They have both parents traits and may slightly lean towards one more than the other. They aren't quite as hardy as #7 and aren't nearly as stretchy as #'s 1 and 3, but all in all are very nice plants.

#5 BK lean

#6 SQ lean

Day 92 from seed. Day 48 of 12/12.

Well everything is looking very good. I do have to report however that one of my ladies threw some nanners. #6 is officially done because of nanna' clusters in the bottom of the buds. This one was the last one to be able to tell the sex and I think maybe that was why. It didn't have any last week, so they just appeared recently. After noticing this I made sure to comb through the rest very well and am happy to say that it was a isolated incident. It's all part of the game. I am just glad I caught it in time. All the rest of the Qush are looking real good and getting frosty. Well without further delay......

#1- SQ dom

DSCN2457.jpgDSCN2462.jpgDSCN2467.jpg

#3- SQ dom. Very very frosty and resinous. Smells very good. Possibly my favorite. Definitely one of the most photogenic. One of my leaders at this point.

DSCN2431.jpgDSCN2425.jpgDSCN2426.jpgDSCN2428.jpgDSCN2429.jpgDSCN2448.jpgDSCN2449.jpgDSCN2450.jpg

#5 BK lean. This one has both smell and good resin too, just not quite as frosty as #3 but does have more dense buds.

DSCN2411.jpgDSCN2413.jpgDSCN2423.jpg

#6- Was a great plant. Was one of my favorites, but it threw these on the unders of the buds late in flower so she/he had to go.

DSCN2405.jpgDSCN2407.jpg

#7 BK dominant. The closest to Bubba by far. Very short stout and tight with stacked nugs. Has a great smell and nice resin. Another one of my personal favorites. Looks to be the furthest along in color and development too.

DSCN2470.jpgDSCN2471.jpgDSCN2472.jpgDSCN2473.jpgDSCN2474.jpgDSCN2475.jpgDSCN2480.jpg

From the way things look now I am going to be looking at the trich's starting at day 54 and watching them closely to harvest these beauties. I don't see these going past 60 days. Stay tuned for a chop/harvest updates in the near future.
