....so this is one of my bonzai girls in a five gal. smart pot...........she is exactly where i want her at day 43 flower, she is a clone, in a 5 gal. smartie........she is beefy, dense, and getting her colors on....and her smells are off the chart ridiculous...now she is pretty small, will yield 3 zips or so.....but i am happy with her use of nutrients.......super soil at about 50%, water only, except for organic sucanat at days 30 and 45....

........when i first started out, i used bottled organic liquids, i would have trouble getting my girls to finish, and could never get a good flush........not a problem anymore, these girls will finish at 55 days tops.......where as the same strain with bottles took at least 64.........i am converted for sure, and it sure is a lot easier on the pocket book!

and IMO so much more rewarding, what better way to learn your plants than to mix your own soils and such.... I'll never look back

BTW looks sick dude! I just ordered a couple packs of TGA's and have been creepin seein how these go and man Im stoked, Nice job!

Happy Growings.

I had no doubts about myself switching to SS in the near future but that post just solidified it. I have to take the summer off from growing so in the off time supersoil is getting made, already found a buddy with a cement mixer and got him started with a couple clones last week.

There just isnt a easier or more efficient way of doing it. "Just add water"....I wish I figured this out a long time ago, I'd be much further along as a grower if I didnt get into all that stupid bottled shit as you did as well, what a waste of time, no? Had to start somewhere though I guess. Now all I have to do is hurry up and wait for summer to be over.. your shit is looking dank-ariffic by the way nugz.

Lookin REALLY good man! very inspirational for sure. How often are you haveing to water with the smart pots? I'm thinking of using them for my next round and am curious on your thoughts. They seem to be working wonders for you, though it's not just the container making it happen!
so i thought i would take a smart pot comparison pic......so we can see what all my girls in different stages look next to each other.....Ace in a 7 going into flower in a few days, Vortex in a 5 vegged 47 days @ 22 days flower, and a bonzai in a 5 @ 43 days flower......they are all bomb as hell! enjoy

Very nice, Nugs. I appreciate that you put out a comparison like that. What went into your preference for a longer veg time?

space, space, and space......my veg times are based on height and girth! i have very tight tollerances in the lab!.....that is a huge reason why i manage canopy so intensely......my rooms are very small........if i want to be legal, i have to become very efficient.....and creative....

Beautiful work Nugs. I was just talking with Sub about the special skills of small space gardeners that can really translate well into larger spaces.

I love your style.

that's cool, thanks for the compliment.....love your photos.....but i would like your grow more if you used bigger pots!:-P what i find so interesting about bonzai, and bondage, is the incredible intimacy you develop with the young plants.......i am big on communicating with my plants, and enjoy it a great deal when i can hear them telling me their secrets..... they will tell you exactly how to help them reach their fullest potential, if you listen....that is what has got me by the balls.

Agreed.

We bonzai, bondage, lst and supercrop our 10 gallon smarties in the main garden.

The 1 gallons we use are for testing and pheno picking.

I'll have some photos from the 10 gallons up soon. They are kicking ass.

Great info., thanks for the feedback. Love the comparison shots! They look supuer sweet! I'm sprouting a couple of cheese quakes and some mystery beans right now. I may try 1 gal. smarties for the veg and compare to the nursury pots I usually use. Plus rep to ya!

I'm excited as hell, looking at those gorgeous plants, Nugs. I'll be dropping 10 seeds of Vortex, 5 of JillyBean and 2 Fem Lemon Skunk tonight. I'm hoping for 9 girls to fill my 3x3 area. It's the first time since I've grown with a 400w, and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

ohh nuggs that vortex is looking great. would love to have a cutting of that. i started 2 jilly bean this year and both were fantastic looking plants, but both were male. its ok cause i dont have room for them anyway but i would have made room for them.
its not in my plans to start more at this point, but i really wanted to try some of tga gear before i buy more. but that vortex may have just landed on my xmas list.
