I still have in circulation the very first bag of soil I bought...each time I finish I add some stuff to it..worm castings, guanos, compost, composted manure, whatever...not to mention the roots of the previous plant, and whatever amendments I gave that plant during it's cycle...so...I add just random organic what nots and now I don't have to give any nutes...at all, but seedlings are fine it...seedling bell peppers it is a little hot for...so I guess it depends on the plant...but Mj loves it.

and do you let it sit before re-using it? how do you know how much food is left in it, do you add about half of what you put in it the first time? trial and error I guess,... this year I am using the supersoil I used over the winter in my garden, but in the future I think I will try re-use it and see

Endur0xX, I have a fairly elaborate method I use that I was taught by a grower from the PacNW...I had written it all out in this thread, or the weed nerd thread, back in February, but it was in the posts that got erased by the hack. I will try to recreate it, but have to run atm. It will take me awhile to get it written down again...
