Drain your battery almost all the way, then if that charger takes 9-10 hours to charge it up, it’s probably a 20ah batteryassuming the output info in the charger is correct.My battery made it today. 91 cells, 48 volts, 20 AH. A 2 amp charger charges at 2aH per hour. So 10 hours charging = 20aH
also...FUCKING CONGRATS! You’re gonna have a lot of fun. Wrap the battery in some sorta insulation, and store it inside when not using it... it’ll stay warm for a couple hours when you ride in freezing weather.

Thanks for that, because I was thinking, how do I know what this thing is??? There is absolutely NO identifying markings as to it's output....lol. My LCD on the bike will tell me the wattage....and I do have an electrical tester but not sure of it's rating, if it will go this high.
My uncle is an electrical engineer...I was hoping I to get him to "inspect" it...but he doesn't like these Chinese lipo's AT ALL, and he would probably be worried his shop would burn down...Mine is charging right under a smoke detector, just in case!! Hoping I got a good one!!

Nope, but I bought the perfect bag for it...and it will hold the 60 amp battery shut off, which is pretty freakin' big. Now to see if it will support the weight, the thing IS heavy...10 pound-ish. It's not as big as it looks though, about like 2 -600 watt HPS bulbs for comparison.
I'm gonna need to drop 20+ pounds to help make up for the 30 I'm adding to the bike

I've seen where people build a box out of corrugated plastic (like ups pickup boxes) that fits into the triangle of the frame which they then zip tie into place.. I was actually just thinking he could integrate the water bottle mounts to secure a piece of aluminum flat stock to mount the battery. I wouldn't want any weight that could shift and throw your balance off. Also I'd try to get it as low as possible.

Also seen the same thing done with a triangle frame bag like they use for bike packing. I'm not sure if the battery needs to be modified to do this or not but I do know its possible for a person with a little creativity and is willing to try.. Good friend I worked with builds e-bikes for a shop now but before he built his own crank drive (sadly no longer available in the US) and mounted his battery this way. He actually had a low jack system to alert him if is bike was moved and that he could use to track it if it was stolen. Crazy how fast that bike can go. I want to say it was like 1200 watts or maybe more more.. He could easily reach 40 mph on the flats with out pedaling to hard..

Shouldn't need to mod the battery at all. Build a frame for the battery that attached to the hard mount on the frame that you make between the bottle cage mounts. Anything that touches the battery plasti-dip or throw some rubber strips in.

Oh we'd be chilling if we where closer dude. My dad and I have built a bunch of stuff.....used a Fosters beer can as a radiator overflow tank once. Lots of dirty ratrods and some nice shiney ones too.

That's where I got the idea for the bag I bought, but I didn't want to lose my water bottle holder....So the bag I bought fits perfect, has room for the battery and battery shut off, and still room for the water bottle underneath. Plus there's a zipper on the other side with room for my phone and wallet. It's perfect!!
Hoping to finish it today...I'll post pics. It's snowing ALL day again, so nothing better to do!
