I am upgrading my grow area (tent to "closet") and I'm widening the air intake for my existing room while I'm at it. Keeping it dark is my big thing but I think I have it figured out :)
Thanks to you I got the inspiration to rearrange my fans and bring in cold air from down low and i went form 80f to 67f lights are now at 100% so only time will tell if my temps regulate nicley

Tell us too please. I've got to do something soon for my 'new' flower closet.

The beginning pic is up there somewhere, with exhaust hose draped around the room. I'll post what I'm doing with explanations eventually but now that the tent is hooked back up (with the exhaust permanently installed) I am in "take your time and do this right" mode. Got one of the kids and grandkids coming for the weekend, so that's done for a bit.

As far as the dark part, I am thinking big intake with just baffles to prevent light from getting through around the corners. No airflow restriction just corners then a washable cut-to-fit filter just to catch cat-hair and whatnot.

Oh, and I am thinking dual-purpose, and making it big enough for a shelf.

That is AWESOME! Figured that might be the issue - only because I had the same one. Spread the word.
Sometimes it takes us stoners a while to figure things out, and sometimes we forget unless we write it down. That is the beauty of these forums.

Guaranteed that 100% of my posts are while I am stoned - just sayin' LOL

Free Weed - Monster-clone - nothing to lose update

Notes from the GDP flower-clone reviewed.
When sprouts started is was crowded and that slowed growth, killed one.
Was keeping it dry-ish like a seedling. Too much going on for that.

Had some 100% feed leftover from the other clone yesterday, so I thinned some out 50% and gave each a pint. They looked fine this morning
Since I have shoots, I snipped the old fan leaves and then soaked each pot with just RO water. The 2 above have several random shoots (3-4 each, more?) but I'm not digging around in there to count.

This one may be the star though. It looks to have 2 opposing shoots like a natural manifold! And if not, it's close enough that I can keep those two and prune any others. SCORE :)

I ain't Jewish, but what about a menorah? Instead of keeping node 1, 3, etc. double-shoots off the sides, just keep the top shoot at node 2, 4, 6, etc. ???

I was thinking about how to train/prune a manifold with random clone shoots popping out instead of "double-nodes" , and think of the space it would save!!!

Planning...

This is why stoners should write stuff down!

Long skinny pots, rectangles that can fit close together but not touching without wasting space.
Would have to have sturdy tops so it didn't bow out.
Pots sized to fit your light's optimum flower foot-print.

Once the "menorah" is set, you could have more plants in the same amount of soil, in the same amount of space, all getting equal light - but each plant only one "cola" wide.
There would be almost no training needed.

This is what my "competition" grow will be! just 2 plants to see how it works, and still just one QB board per plant.

This should be interesting LOL

I also want to keep the lights higher so I can get more stretch.

Also need to do some volume computations for pot size.

Pistils are anywhere from 40-60% brown, with the bigger ones farther behind. I am also seeing several amber trichomes but most are now past the clear stage except on the new growth.
