hey guys,

so this is my first time attempting to grow. both these girls (touch wood) are under a single 130watt 6400k CFL.

they are about 2 weeks old but for the first week suffered light deficiency.

i was wondering whether the lighting i have atm is adequate enough to keep these guys gong through their veg cycle. they are in a cupboard 2.5sq feet.

please ignore the maccas cup. thats all i had at the start. will be transplanting soon.

cheers.

if thats a proper 130w then it should do the job good. its looking good so far.
im flowering atm with a 125w CFL to see how it goes.
you might want to turn the light on its side, youll use more light from it then.
maybe add some perlite to the soil when you transplant, 10-20% perlite will help with drainage and aeration of the roots.

reet the cfl pro is here ,,lol,,,

the 130w will be perfect for vegging in that space,,mylar is recomended tho,,
soon they will grow like fuck,,once they have a few more solar pannels (fanleafs) to absorb the light

and flowering with a 125/130 in that space will be ok to allthough a 200 will do a noticable difference,, i use the 250s for flower and get fatass bud

and yea atleast 20% perlite does wonders for drainage, 10% vermiculite if possible too ,i would use 6ltr pots to transplant into then into 11ltr pots a week before flowering,,

cheers guys. thanks for the help.

yeh i have turned the light on its side now. they arnt growing as fast as expected but im sure once they get a few more fan leaves they will shoot up. ill keep you posted how they go with the 130w CFL.

cheers
